Absolutely true! Mushrooms, especially Wild Mushrooms are Nature's secret weapon. My forest Rooster is pretty much an expert, we usually pick 30-40 varieties every season. And the season is virtually year around. If you want to stay healthy & sharp, boost your immune system, one of the best things you can do is learn about wild mushrooms and start picking them. They are everywhere, plus you get a good exercise foraging, and it is fun! I have never thought spotting a tiny little Chanterelle or Sweet Tooth or Turkey mushrooms can give me so much joy :)

Love mushrooms , although our mother ,who was a paediatrician absolutely banned us from hunting or eating any mushrooms, purely for psychological reason .When she had just graduated from university, they sent her as a junior at A&E. That particular summer in the 70's was rainy and there were a lot of wild mushrooms in the forests , some families inexperienced in foraging ended up at A&E and she witnessed several families with severe poisoning coming in and adults would survive, but children were gone .It had such an impact on her -that perfectly logical MD would refuse to cook even supermarket bought mushrooms!Although she approved the use of Chaga tincture for cancer. Here we are a great weekend story .Lots of love 💗 everyone.

You should add birch polypore (fomitopsis betulina) to your list. Sometimes called the "Swiss army knife" of mushrooms, it has antiviral, antibiotic, anti inflammatory, anti tumour, antiseptic, antifungal, antiparasitic and stiptic properties. However, unlike the other fungi in your list, I'm not aware of it being widely available commercially. If you live in northern latitudes, it's common on birch trees (esp. white birch), fruiting late summer/fall. I slice and dry it, and brew an infusion of it mixed with hemlock reishi and turkey tail that I also forage. I drink this every day and haven't had so much as a cold for several years now.

Hey Dr. Berg, thanks for the great information, just brewed up my first batch of Reishi tea tonight, looking forward to incorporating it more regularly into my diet! Also wanted to point out to anyone watching that the mushroom pictured when you first mention Chaga is not actually Chaga. The picture is of a mushroom called Fomes Fomentarius. The confusion between the two is understandable since FF is often called the False Tinder Hoof, while Chaga Is often referred to as the true Tinder Hoof (It is a reference to when indigenous people would use the Chaga mushroom as a way to transport coals from place to place without losing the ember). For some reason Fomes Fomentarius has been wrongly attributed with being able to do this, but only the Chaga, when the inner cork is hollowed out, is able to effectively transport burning coals.

Its not good considering he doesn't like thc, because it retards your brain, and smoking it is corrosive, ive never met a pot head who said "well ill just take edibles" and actually only takes edibles. Plus, you have to take cannabis with garlic to avoid the carcinogen affects of it taken orally.
LSD and psilocybin deplete vitamin b3 which cause schizophrenia, don't believe me try taking non fortified nutritional yeast while tripping it dulls your trip because the b3 in it destroys the pro schizophrenia affects of tripping. The vitamin has to come from nature not your drug dealing pharmacy.
There isn't a drug in this world that has a benefit that makes you feel crazy slowly over time. All drugs natural or manmade kill you over time.
Then, you also have to rely on your grower to make sure there aren't any mycotoxins or aflotoxins which cause cancer in weed mushrooms and other food drugs like coffee and grains. Which is impossible if you get your weed medical or recreational since the cannabis industry is owned by the tobacco industry.

Since I always ate mushrooms with steak, now if I just cook mushrooms with butter, I can eat them without the steak, but feel like I'm eating the steak. I also really love mushrooms in a simple soup of veg/chicken broth, tons of thinly sliced mushrooms, leeks, bok choy, lemongrass, ginger, salt, sliced chicken breast (optional).

Protecting all your cells from all forms of radiation, turns light into chemical energy/water molecule and is there at the very moment Life is formed to protect the developing soul.

Just to be sure, I'm consuming Turkey Tail and Lion's Mane on a daily basis and have whittled down my sugar intake to almost zero.
