Forza Horizon 5 on ROG Ally vs. Steam Deck Gameplay, technical review, 120FPS 1080p resolution. - Hry
The video start here 1:41
Doesn’t even load very often. When it does it works great.
was this on z1x?
In steam deck it staters alot. Can only play 30fps only.
Make a comparison video of steam deck vs rog ally battery life please 🙏
In case you haven't seen yet. The Steam Deck has better battery life. Almost double of the ROG Ally. I'm trying to decide which one to get myself.
@@beast11135Rogs stronger in performance my opinion
The game works on 60 fps or 120 fps? and it is works smoothly
Works on 70 and 80 fps, you can see it in the video!!
Windows key on MMOGA are 20$
"rogue ally"
I know it is "R O G" but just spell it for much shorter word😊
@@itssleepyboy17pronounce not spell 🤓
Rog
He hasn't been to school, so he can not pronounce properly
windous
♥️
fsr and dlss are a game changers!
which cpu version you have ?
Your mom wtf is that question
It is pronounce R.O.G., not rogue. Republic Of Gamers
nobody is gonna say the entire name it sounds dumb as hell, like for example “this here is the republic of gamers ally 🤓☝️” get off CZcams and do something better for your life
I wish it was pronounced Rogue tho, sounds so much cooler than rohgg
Nope it's Republic of Germans :D
How is the gpu usage is 0 ?
there is no GPU its APU
@@xametistdoesn’t matter it still shows frequency’s and memory percentages for both. Don’t talk if you’re not going to be helpful. Mean while for the OG’s comment it’s most likely a bug I play forza 5 on my ally and both show data
@@xametistfurther more an APU is the combination of a CPU and GPU. It’s almost like you saw a computer in a Best Buy one time and decided off that alone that you’re an expert 😭😂
yeah whats battery life 14 minutes
Bro fr
just plug it... no way this kind of device have very good battery life.. as same as laptop
@@eileen88 1 hour of battery playing games 🤡
15 minutes, you nerd 😏
Exactly the same as any iPhone
This game doesn’t work after about 4 hours thru the campaign it gets bottlnecked by the memory , the rog ally runs at 50-60 percent memory taken up by windows processes , cant figure out how to fix it. During gameplay u get low memory warnings and then huge lag spikes, but the problem is, windows takes up that 50-60 percent of memory standard
It’s not referring to ram “memory” it’s actually how many go of vram you have so a 2gb gpu will always get a warning if your over your vram budget
Watch the battery percentage drop 4:19 (65%) and drop 1% at 4:56 (64%). Correct me if I’m wrong that the battery drop in just 47 second? So battery percentage keep dropping every 47 seconds?
It depends on the game and he may be using some others softwares running on the background. I'm not sure 100% but yea there's pros and cons running high triple AAA games but this is the best handheld I've seen so far with windows.
@@misterpotato4775for the video, he also most likely has the brightness all the way up, and may not have decreased the vibration settings either, which both drain battery
yea it does drop like that
Yep no lie AAA games like these will drain your Ally’s battery in an hour or less
You don’t need windows to play this game on the Steam Deck.
The extensive marketing hype around the hardware and performance of the Rog Ally is practically irrelevant, considering that if you genuinely want to make the most of this handheld, you will have to restrict its performance due to battery limitations.
Not at all. It gets pretty much the same battery life as the deck. And where are you that you don't have access to a wall plug? It's 2023, airplane, boats, cars, every library, virtually everywhere ull play will have a wall plug, just plug it in lol. Expecting to get a real pc performance off a portable battery is a fundamental attribution error on your part. Every quality gaming laptop same story... just plug it in
@@thehumanracesucks1017well said
@@thehumanracesucks1017 that reminded me of the Blizzard meme when they announced Diablo Immortal (mobile game) and everyone boo-ed and they simply said "do you guys not have phones?". These _handheld_ devices are mainly designed for _handheld_ play, so buying one just to be stuck to a place with a wall plug nearby and a long charger mostly plugged in is not the portable scenario these devices were designed for :/ It's perfect if it works for you, but as a Switch owner, I love the simplicity of having a portable device I can quickly whip up anywhere and play whenever without any physical restrictions. If the main appeal wasn't portability, then they would've marketed these devices differently. It's like saying to keep your gaming smartphone connected in at all times bc the option is there, but that wasn't the reason I bought one in the first place 😅
Sorry for long post. Also, the battery is the same on these devices, yes, but to get most of the performance gains out of the Ally, you need to use the Turbo mode (25W), in which case the battery life reduces significantly. If you stick to Performance (15W), you get the same battery life as the Deck, but at that point, you're paying $200-300 more for a premium screen and better speakers 😅
I got a 56000mah powerbank that gives me an extra 4,5-5 hours in games like cyberpunk gta5 and forza in turbo mode. The ally battery itself lasts for about an hour on turbo mode. 5,5 hours of full power is all you will ever need imo
@PRO-peller well said, I'm buying a powerbank too.
So roughly one minute of playing equals one minute of battery life :D lmao yeah thanks but no thanks. I tried the Ally though and thought it's amazing, but I'll just wait for the next gen or get a Steam Deck.
this thing is probably more expensive than series x ???LOL???
