If they had made the She-Hulk series with a more serious tone, this would not be happening. They turned She-Hulk into a joke character. She was never meant to be that. She was supposed to be a more comprehensive version of the Hulk. She-Hulk existed because an intelligent Hulk wasn't the standard like he is now in the MCU. She was also supposed to show what it was like to be a superhero--or super villain--in the everyday life of the MCU. It was a more grounded approach to all the damage the "supers" did in the world than what we see in the DC Universe. But she also had the occasional "wink at the camera" moment, similar to Deadpool, explained by the fact (in the comics) that the Hulk and anyone else with "Hulk blood" have a higher psychic awareness. The Hulk can sense Astral Beings. She-Hulk perceives the 4th wall. (It's also explained by the fact that the She-Hulk creator, John Byrne, liked the TV series Moonlighting which broke the 4th wall on occasion, and he gave her that ability. John Byrne, as a person, is also in the MCU so if the creator of a superhero is in the MCU does that give the superhero the ability to perceive the creator's IRL world? Food for thought.) She may also have been created to thwart the company(s) making the Bill Bixby version of the Hulk TV series creating a female version of the Hulk (a la Bionic Woman TV show being created after the popularity of the Six Million Dollar Man TV Show) without Marvel's controlling interest in such a character. If the permission to use the Hulk character was dropped, the company(s) who made a female version (or equivalent) of the Hulk would not have to pay royalties to Marvel if the company created such a hero on their own.
