m-mode pitfalls in measurement

Thank you for the great video, sir. I have a question though. In cases where the ultrasound machine doesn't have the free angle M-mode, and it's extremely difficult to get the LV long axis to be perpendicular to the conventional M-mode, do I still have to stick to M-mode or just free measuring?

If you have access you can do it on psax otherwise, show it but don't measure anything
