Sebastian: What about me!?
Ferrari:Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh
No they didn't, lol

Comment of the week
Meanwhile after race:
Lewis: *I had a great strategy today*
Albon: *I had a bad strategy today*
Seb: *you guys had a strategy??*
Seb was the strategist. ^__^
I felt Seb on so many levels during my A-Levels.
Seb had an amazing strategy
@@MercyMburuNyakio I'm going into o level with no strategy lol
@@nammar6435 Man, that's how it be sometimes. Peace be with you, you'll make it! ✌️
Matty: "I'm not complaining, cause F1 is back"
Also Matty: My GoD wAs ThAt BoRiNg
He’s a bit clueless
Thank God he wasn't complaining
OTOH both of those are true - it is good that F1's back but yeah, that race was dull as F.
Facts, not per se complaining
The race was actually good as 4 spanish gp standards
Can’t believe no one tweeted about the camera showing a Ferrari spun around, and it not being Vettel
Oh people did
There was so much in the hashtag
The Simpsons one was a given.
"here we go agai... wait, what?!"
That was such a good meme but sadly it doesn't showcase in here
I mean Sebastian has to make his own tire strategies and that’s always interesting.
He drove more laps on softs than on medium. Lol ferrari's strategist is a yoke
munifucent aargh
At this rate he will be also fixing his car and designing upgrades for it.
Rosso Tifosi with Enzo‘s blessing from heaven he will run the damn company by the end of the season
@@russotusso1695 tbf with you i wouldnt be surprised if he does that, his passion used to be engineering not racing so he would know 1 or 2 things

F1 Community after Grosjean finally catches a spin, but doesn’t cause a safety car to make the race interesting: *still triggered*

I can't stand how much hate the poor guy gets. He's still super quick and a good guy.
That was a great save!

F1s relationship with rain is like when you beg for snow so you can miss school.
@aaron names oh but it is
Why would you miss school because of snow, I only remember that happening once and that was because it was so bad cars were unable to go up bridges
Miss school cos of snow? Man, you're definitely not in Canada.
Omatmani in the uk school and work got cancelled for 4-5 days because of 1 layer that covered half of your shoes
It's so funny that it ACTUALLY started raining after the race, when the teams already starded packing up lmao
FinTz it always happens in f1
Olaf Mol (Dutch Commentator) literally said it always happened like that, translated:
“Normally here at Barca, when the rain is on the way, it always hits when the teams are packing up, not during the race.” He was right.
I was so disappointed about that, I saw those rain clouds coming in and thought it would be the only thing that could save us from a boring race... alas we were forced to watch yet another subpar Spanish GP
Its boring af..can't wait for next year
Matt's rant about the tyre graphics was more entertaining than the race.
Matty going full-on Jeremy Clarkson.
When leclerc retired
Matty: I'm not a fanboy, just sadboi
Once again Barcelona fails to NOT dissapoint
This sentence is confusing to me
Matt Coupe no cos then it would have been more interesting 😔
Without the occasional snore fest can there really be exciting races?
...

...
Yes. We should get rid of Barcelona...
Dirty Air+ tire temperatures= *BORED*
real barcafan Why?
Seb: Can you give me an actual strategy this time?
Ferrari: well... You can come back in but we've already packed up all the tyres other than the wets soooooo
Seb: I could cry a waterfall. Fine, give me the wets!
8:25 Did you see Hockenheim 2018??
Imagine the person who won last week´s tweet of the week , realising he didnt win the prize by a week .

imagine the person who thought he'd won this week's tweet of the week, when Matty was talking about it being a tyre graphics tweet.
What will fanatec hand out? I can't imagine them giving out steering wheels
@@humphreythegoat8149
A gift card?
RIP Ferrari strategy
In Medium - 30 Laps
In Soft - 36 Laps
But the funny thing is Seb knew there was no strategy at all.
The midfield was ok, but I literally spent almost the entire race watching the gaps in the hope that something interesting happened
Saaame
Me like: they're not showing it, but Magnussen, Kimi and Ocon are in a battle. Then the gaps started getting bigger again..
Me like: Probably s🅱️innala..
Barcelona isn't really known to produce great racing... IDK why people act surprised and as if it was the end of the world.
With Mercedes' domination, it's almost certain to be "boring" at the front. Nonetheless. There has been some great battles and overtakes in the mid pack.
And, we should always be grateful there is even some racing going on. We've been waiting for that for a long time this year...
Overreaction is what the internet does.
I think a lot of people are just disappointed this year as the fight up front was expected to be closer, as there were 5 different race winners last year. So to see everyone lapped up to and including P4 really kills those hopes.
@frosty 4 u the original layout is too dangerous for F1, which i don't understand, since MotoGP uses that layout and Luis Salom died at that corner in 2016
Not that much action even in the midfield...
Well said!
@Michael Thomas Cane I also enjoyed the race,I was surprised that the Red Bull tyres gave up before the Mercedes ,Silverstone may have being a big outlier or Red Bull......fill in the blank .I am a Lewis fan and to me he was races against the Schumacher records.
No wonder Seb spins all the time when he’s having to do 5 people’s jobs at 200mph
I’m surprised there wasn’t a lot of memes on vettel being his own strategist
That 1min gap to P4 was, quite honestly, embarrassing
Albon feeling really awkward about being in F1.5.
the 32 sec gap from 1 to 2 was more embarrassing
P4 (Stroll) was a full lap down actually. Agreed, pretty terrible for the sport.
Perez before the. Race said they would fight with verstappen.... What a joke lol
@ageofbogyo the racing points did not fight with verstappen....
We had a bit of an “it’s raining at the water park“ moment
3:39 Vettel: Idk man, I kinda want to focus more on driving.
Barcelona hasn’t had a good race in years so during an extremely limited schedule let’s include it because...testing? 🤷♂️
Don't forget sochi is on the calendar as well.
Lee Shepherd the venue is shit but the races at Sochi are quite ok
2016, 2017?
This season is pretty cool... even if it is one of the worst races of the season, it is still better than a lot of 2019 races
Was iiiit? Was it really?
@@ananda3723 like in all races
What are you talking about? The 2019 season was amazing. There was like 3 boring races.
@@GeniusLad32 no, there was 6 good races : Monza, Spa, Silverstone, Brazil, Germany, Austria
But the others 🤮
@@aloter1680 no, he's right. Better than this
I love how we just completely ignored talking about Charles on this one
I’ll say this now: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a test track
well you say f1 needs more rain but hamilton is arguably more dominant in the rain😂
Matt in every episode
“Alex I want you to do well, *B U T* ...”
This wasn’t much of a race when 1, 2, and 3 out lapped everybody else.
got its so good to have Internets Best Reactions on the same day as the race again and not 2 days before the next race 😂😂
Solution: Watch F2... Seriously those final laps were the best racing I've ever seen in years and it has been years since we have seen a mystery to who would win the f1 title but f2 is always a mystery to who would win
We all love it when the internet’s best reactions come out!! Keep up the great work guys👌👌👍
Ferrari is good at two things: Cheating and snitching when caught.
They're also pretty good at making cars. Road cars that is.
@@ghsf1234 and GT3 cars too they often do well in stock car racing... sad that they are bad at making F1 cars now tho
Federico Luzzi their road cars are garage divas. Drive them like a Porsche, they’ll break down. For that money I’ll buy a corvette, and I’m not even fond of the brand.
@@elhadjiamadoujohnson4166 That was a funny one mate
@@elhadjiamadoujohnson4166 A corvette... You loose you credibility..
Well Toto wasn’t lying. The 1,5sec difference was real. But then heavy clouds came, the track dropped temperature, And Lewis just vanished in front of everyone.
Lewis is in a different League. Well yes his car helps but look at Bottas. He is never as consistent as Lewis.
Stephan the bloke is a superstar.
Yeah, even max knew that he could go faster. In the early laps when he said "..yeah but lewis is going super slow", he knows how much faster he can be lol.
Like a spectre into the mist he was this race.
Franz Ferdinand Verstappen wasn’t quick enough simple.
@@321RrelyT I mean yeah he wasn't quick ENOUGH, because lewis was fast. If max was slow bottas would've cought him easily.
I think we all should be grateful that there is even racing. Instead of complaining just appreciate that they’re out there pretty much risking their health for our entertainment. 🤙🏽
I’ve been waiting for this all day!
F1 is a team sport, communication is key
I’m so happy. I clicked as soon as it came out
"Fanatec prize"
Imagine its just a t shirt
Still wouldnt complain tho
11:05 It actually feels like they are intentionally sabotaging him at this point. It does feel like a very Ferrari way to say goodbye. Capiche? 👌🏻
the good thing about this race is, I got all the laundry done and cleaned the washroom in the basement by the end 've the race....Cheers!
Imagine believing that rain wouldn't just let Hamilton win by more.
Would have lapped himself ffs.
LMFAO I KNOW!!! Have they forgot about his pole lap in Austria?
Still the best Spanish Grand Prix in 3 years lol
Same day? Wow that was fast.
(Also you are responsible now if I am tired tomorrow)
Isn’t it usually the same day?
Lauren B. I think they always take one day
Lauren B. But even if they did, it really is a great job they are doing. Such quality with all the graphics, animations and so on in such a short time👍
TimSR99 ah, maybe cause I’m in a different time zone? The race is pretty early where I am, so uploading on the ‘same day’ gives them longer where I am than where you are... if that makes sense. Either way, I agree they do a fantastic job in a short amount of time
Lauren B. Yeah that does seem the case😄👍
Regarding Bottas being coached, what's the problem here?
The whole idea of F1 is teams (drivers and engineers) trying everything they can to win. If the team know something that could help the driver complete the race faster, why shouldn't they tell him?
All this "the drivers shouldn't get radio messages" stuff is garbage. The teams should be working together to get the best out of their cars, and that can involve sharing information.
The driver still has to actually drive the car, and as Max showed us in the 70th GP, the driver can choose to ignore the instruction if he wants to.
Where does this end? Team can't tell the driver how to drive, so does that mean the driver can't tell the team how to do strategy? Should we all be upset that Lewis was telling Mercedes not to put him on softs? "that's the teams job, the driver shouldn't be coaching the team".
Everyone at the team should be working to try and win, sharing info can help them do that, so they should do that. If you don't like it, grow up and pull your head out of the sand.
I think the problem is when it becomes excessive, not that it happens at all.
@@jamesshives5679 in my opinion there is no amount that is excessive unless the driver or team says so.
@launchedsquid 👏🏽 well said. Thank you.
Let’s go back to 2016, when they practically banned team radio. I wonder how the fans reacted to that? 🤦♀️
Coaching every corner is wrong, team radio is fine but there has to be a limit to it otherwise who's out there actually applying the skill? The pit wall or Bottas?
I swear there is a invisible Fortfield that stops rain coming to the track
Rethink this
War Tome ????
Thunder5050 gaming reread what you wrong 😂 I mean wrote.
War Tome I’m verruyyyyy confused!!!
Thunder5050 gaming what is a Fortfield?
Fun fact: Max Verstappen’s two pitstops (totalling 3.9 seconds) were shorter than Lewis Hamilton’s single stop when Mercedes double-stacked (4.3 seconds)
Pretty sure redbull mechanics survive only on redbull and sweets in race weekends
Marco Andretti's pole run wasn't a snooze fest.
That was phenomenal
The first Andretti to get a pole at Indy in 33 years.
This is becoming one if my must watch channels after the race, very entertaining
Legend says they are still waiting for the rain
You know... The amount of heat produced by f1 cars and outputted into the air and the tarmac, including how hot the black stuff gets from the sun, actually creates a pretty significant convection tunnel. When a potential rain cloud rolls up on that tunnel, it kinda just... yeets sideways. Cause, you know, physics. So no rain on track in cirumastances such as these, isn't actually just bad rng. The track does actually literally have a mild force field that pushes the rain away.
Matt at the start of the vid: zzzz asleep
Me trying to sleep
And wtf1 uploads
At 23:44 where i live
Why?????
It was so boring my boyfriend actually fell asleep
I don’t think the race was to Boring if you look at the lead of the race it was but from 4th place down it was a lot of good driving and good attacking and defending
Wow, no mention of Leclerc? Can’t be *that* passionate 🤔
Nvm i didn’t get to the end of the vid before commenting. Full apologies, plz don’t report me
The first f2 race was mad though
Seriously those radio conversations during the race are important to keep because they are just so entertaining for us watching the race + it adds a little bit more understanding about what happens to drivers and the car.
Even in the Social team championship ferrari's customers and ferrari itself is at back while mercedes and company is at front
relateable ☺
I like the driver coaching, Lando being fed information and modes while hunting the podium in race 1 made it more gripping than him just driving "alone and unaided"
Lights out n away hamilton goes, wins and I fall asleep...💤
I just showed my dad the f1 channel’s highlights and he liked it I mustttt convert my entire family to f1 fans lol
silverstone GPs: nom nom lovely tyres
me: oh boy those tyres are going to pop like popcorn!
Spanish GP: lol nah
i actually fell asleep at lap 6 and woke up when they said Albon got 8th.
"Should I turn left or right at the next one? Ask my sponsors"-Perez
Everyone: We want rain!
Someone: Hits the sprinkler button just before the Paul-Richard race.
Because that is what heroes do
I stopped watching the race at lap 5

@@kenchen704 Either Portimao or Estoril, or both, just get rid of catalunya
Either get rid of it, or reconfigure it. Run the last corner without that god-awful chicane
Only thing you missed was leclerc retired with an engine issue
@@Duval-In-The-Wall They should just use the old part of the circuit instead of that chicane.
This is the first video ever i watched on your channel , and trust me won't be the last.Awesome content mate !! Keep it up!
I’m still in doubt what performance of/in Barcelona was more dreadful the Spanish GP or Barcelona fc losing 2-8 against Bayern
The editing on this video made me happy inside
if you guys have insomnia try watching this race while laying down
F1 is #blessed in terms of weather
I'd love to see Max Verstappen driving in a Mercedes against Hamilton. I think that would be the best race in the world.
It would be far more entertaining
The heat coming off the racetrack is probably what's preventing the rain to fall on the track during the race.
All the drivers gets nursed from the teams
Vettel: Well, hold my beer and f* my whole team
P.S. I had a middlefinger up while writing this. You probably didn't saw it.
Congrats on the sponsor. Well deserved mate
Controversial opinion, this race was no more boring than the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix.
They all are and will be as long as effin FIA lets teams take advantage of any given rule and surpasses every other.
The rain bit form this video was soo funny😂😂
I actually think the 70th Anniversary GP was more of a borefest than this. Cars unable to fight with other cars because of terrible tyre choices by Pirelli does not make for a great race. If the only thing you care about is the winner of the race then what's the point?
Are you serious, at least at the 2nd british GP, there was a fight for the win, this race was catastrophic, spet most of the race on my phone
metro girl No great on track battles though, all in the pit stops, tyre wear and strategy. Don’t get me wrong, that can be exciting but you need a good mix of the two.
Yes the 70th anniversary gp was worse than this Spanish gp. It was ruined by the tyres
Honestly, I like the team giving the driver access to the huge amount of data they have by telling them where they can improve and how. To me, using that data to go faster is part of being the pinnacle of racing and racing technology. And it's just a inevitable reality that computers race better than the drivers can, because of the access to the large amount of data they have.
Lads it’s the Spanish gp what else did you expect
So glad you mentioned Grojean at the end haha
When the internets reaction is more interesting than the race...
The Leclerc part made me die laughing haha just the tone. Outstanding
It wasn't THAT bad, you must have forget so many races to say it was a borefest if we compare to others Barcelona races.
there's been loadsssssssss of boring races though.
people saying thank god for max verstappen, nah man, thank god for you and this series
I never click so fast!! VAMOS!!
First?
Edit: fourteen actually
The way Ham is looking at Nico in that pic is like " dude what do you want ? "
We need to stop over-hyping the rain. When FIA or Teams say something like "Rain in 15 minutes", they mean "Rain in 15 minutes after the race has ended and everyone has already gone home".
We need sprinklers instead.
That TRIGGERED on the aws tyres had me in pieces😂😂
I guess you're always bored when Hamilton wins 🤣
In a Merc? Yes
@@JM_daDoc 🤣 he's one in everything he's raced in since karting 🤣
I like raging Matty, welcome back! Good editing too 👌
Thing is the midfield hasn't been that close ALL race since 2012... So i would say it was far from a borefest
i haven't fallen asleep during a race for a while. east coast USA, race started at 9:10 am, fell asleep at 9:35 and woke up at 15:35....
Matt says he's not a fanboy but passionate. However his race rundown of the non finishers says otherwise.
Teams have radios, it's a team sport, they can communicate as much as they want in order to get the best result possible.
Honestly i was entertained. The midfield strategy war was fun to watch
I get up at 6am to watch the race, fell back asleep fast as hell
That was better than the actual race!
That wasn't even the craziest case of rain missing a race I've ever seen. At an IndyCar race at Richmond a long time ago(I think it was pre-merger, but don't quote me on that), a gigantic blob of rain was heading for the track during the race. A couple miles from the track, it began deforming and half of it passed north, the other half south, then after it was a few miles past the track it began RECOMBINING ITSELF into the same blob that had been approaching before.
i could do without the race rundown but the ending was really funny :D
Damn I miss 2017 and 2018. Hamilton and Vettel switching championship lead each weekend, amazing racing between 2 of the best in history
