Lewis: You cannot win if you don't bring up your tires.
George: But my tires are fi-
Lewis: This is the way
George: This is the way
If George Russell wants to win in Abu Dhabi, he will have to say ..
_"Bono, my tyres are gone"_
It's secret recipe to win if you're in Hamilton's seat.
And if you're in Bottas' seat you will have to say...
_"James, its (insert the driver name)"_
Or at least avoid this..
_"(insert the driver name), it's James"_
😂😂
Bottas, mumbling silently in the background: I have spoken.
Best comment
Bono has clearly become mando all of a sudden lmao
Fun Fact: Evey time Stroll finishes on the podium, the race is bonkers
The guy loves actions
He seems to get some great luck sometimes...he wasn't even that good today, made mistakes even but there he is.
A podium is a podium though so good for him
@@biscuitcase83 he is too inconsistent, its like you said.. the guy has the best luck on some races and then in other races leclerc fucked him up, his engineers fucked him up or he autofucked himself up.
With that said, I'm pretty happy for him and his progress as a driver, if he can round his rough edges i know he will be in podiums consistently like Ricciardo.
@@biscuitcase83 He made a single stop work by going 40 odd laps on the soft, lets give him a little more credit.

Ferrari fan: "first time?"

*George Russell fan
Best comment ever. I am a Ferrari fan, but Russell in Mercedes is what I am voting for now. Damn!
🤣🤣🤣
Ferrari have slow pitstops but that was a shit show from Mercedes or as Toto said on Sky “a colossal fuck up”
I’m convinced that Lewis saying “Bono, my tyres are gone” has nothing to do with the tyres, it’s actually some sort of ancient pagan chant that wards off bad luck.
Just as "Is he using the kerbs? Can I use the kerbs as well?"
If there is one thing George has learned in abundance at Williams, it's how to keep cool during the interviews after a shockingly disappointing race.
Bottas and Rosberg were like this too during their Williams days. Russell Merc 2021 confirmed?
I'm just loving this racist double standard people have adopted where George Russells performance is down to him being a brilliant driver but Lewis putting in the same performances in the same car is all down to the car.
Those who see this double standard and look the other way or even try to defend it are also complicit in the closet racism driving this debate.
@@jamestruth8235 its always racism with you people honestly, its not like people did the same during vettels dominance, literally booing him on the podium but no because lewis is black that HAS to be the reason
@@jamestruth8235 low-quality bait

Vettel: I hate my usual 6 seconds pit stop

The fact that Norris can pull off such a stunning first lap and nobody’s even talking about it, says a lot of about how truly unbelievable this race was.
It looked like Norris really struggled that race. He got overtaken a lot. Almost every clip they were showing of him, he was getting overtaken.
To be fair, he got like 5 of those positions off of collisions, 4 overtakes on lap 1 is still impressive though.
It was good, but Perez came from 18th to win
Let's all accept that the race was bonkers
Alright start, nothing compared to Raikkonen i Portimao
There is no denying Sergio Perez is a highly skilled amazing driver. Pretty much a last to first challenge and he deserves this so much. Been a long time coming Checo!
+he had an old engine cuz of last week, he's the best
Racingpoint is mad for dropping him. Perez is a better driver than Stroll
@@josefabdul-jawad5667 if they were smart they'd keep both. As much as it pains me Perez is driving better than Vettel.
Checo is an amazing driver, but he is 'just' a driver, no more no less. No personality if you can say it. Even his amazing skill is not that apparent to most F1 fans 😔
Vettel has global marketability that RP couldn't ignore , its Aston Martins biggest need right now, Vettel gets to lead development of the team and car , he will have a car that suits his driving , Vettel had 240 pts 1 win and 9 podiums last season , that's almost Perez career totals , he didn't forget how to drive all of a sudden, Ferrari just moved in a direction that didn't suit Vettels driving, Stroll's willing to let him takeover development of team next season to help them learn how to compete with the big 3 teams
George: my tires are fine
Lewis:you chose wrong
Bono hearing it for the first time: THE END IS NEAR
Are you Luka Doncic or are you his long lost brother?
Bono hearing “My tires are fine”
What is this place or confused confusing confusion
Imagine being heartbroken despite Perez winning his first race
Perez deserves it more than any driver in the grid
Bro, I am thinking, the same. We all know George is getting many other opportunities.
EXACTLY!!! George is gonna have many many wins in the future. . . Perez does not even have a seat for next year! WTF1?!??!
If Mercedes didn’t mess up the pitstop it could have been George’s - First points, First podium, First Win, First fastest lap…… Arghhh, really sorry for George.
Really didn’t know that already
He still got the fastest lap though
@@Jordan-ll5eq He did tho, that is a win in my book considering what happened, it would have been amazing for him to win but he is alright with Perez winning, but man, like, he's such a gentleman, like, what a fuckin professoinal, I'm glad I started watching F1 just as this new gen of drivers are coming up, I can't believe I out age them but a few years, fuckin talented lads

Cuz Checo won!
People hates him for some stupid reason (the Verstappen thing). Amazing. F1 fans are like Justin Bieber's fans, 12 years old crazy girls.
One day, seven or so years from now, George would be winning more races, dominate like Ham and we would be like, 'Remember the time we actually wanted Russel to win a race."
Honestly, everytime my frustration rises up for Russell, I just remember the sheer joy on Perez's face and how much he's gone through for this and it calms me down.
And this cycle continues.
Same... and I hate that Russell's finish detracts even a little bit from my complete joy over Perez's first - and possibly only EVER - Formula 1 win.
I was talking to my dad, and I actually couldn't help but think about when he and Kobayashi were partners. They seemed to be quite civil with each other, and were not very far from each other on the track most of the time.
Kobayashi just had terrible luck with the Japanese economy essentially collapsing just as he broke through so he didn't have much if any financial support. I'm so happy Checo won because he's been through so much, and, in a way, it almost feels like a validation of that Sauber team that I loved so much.

Well, I was absolutely delighted for Checo's win. He's probably leaving at the end of the season for goodness sake, yet he is still keeping this amazing fighting spirit and performing so well, just wonderfull to see. George will get his time in a near future, he showed how great he can be this weekend.
He deserved this win for the past 10 years.
Checo has displayed such amazing spirit this season. In particular compared to Vettel. Racing point may well regret the move.
How about some of that for the man who replaces Perez at Aston Martin. I wish Seb had the same fighting spirit that Perez has. I am truly sorry for Aston Martin.
@@mehmetseker3793 Perez is driving the best car he has ever had in his F1 career , Sebastian is driving 1 of the worst cars he's had in his career , Not hard to figure out why Sergio Perez looks like he's got more fighting spirit , he's Fighting for P4 in WDC and has never finished higher than P7 in WDC , Sebastian had 2 more pitstops ( 5secs+ )with issues ruining his race , what's there to be fighting for when team keeps failing him

@Motorsports Vault As of right now there are only 2 seats left this year (technically 3, due to the whole Lewis Hamilton non-confirmation situation at Mercedes, though I doubt Lewis would leave just when he's on the verge of surpassing Schumacher). The seat next to Verstappen at Red Bull, and the remaining Alpha Tauri seat. It all depends on what Red Bull does with Alex Albon, do they keep him despite his bad performance this year, or demote him and give the seat to someone outside the Junior Program for the first time since Mark Webber joined in 2007.
