- Altgang! What’s good, in this video we react to NF Drifting. Great track of his new clouds mixtape, lots of perspective digging and dynamism with the production. Even though this is a mixtape, other than Layers I feel like this song is probably where NF has been most experimental. I would love to see him dive deeper into using different sounds and tones within his production like this track.
Honestly, that last verse was enough to make this song my favourite from the entire mixtape. With that being said, I love the straight-forward approach you're taking with these reactions; no long ass intros to skip though, no annoying pauses at every decent bar/line he says, and most importantly, a clever, honest and logical breakdown of the song with no additional cringe and unnecessary excitement added into it.
The last verse was crazy! Thank you for that comment, I massively appreciate it. Anything you would change about/ or would like to see more or less of?
@@AltSpace As a non-expert in this whole reaction scene, I really can't think of anything off the top of my head, but in my opinion that just shows that your reactions are about as good as they get from an average viewer's perspective. Keep up the great work!

He compares his relationship with pain to that of a drug addict "I don't do drugs, I'm addicted to the pain though" from change, shows how he knows it's hurting him (killing him even) but he doesn't know how to kick it - his relationship ship with negative thoughts/pain/anger/depression/anxiety and not knowing who he is with out them anymore is like that of an addict

The “unknown sounds” is super jarring, but I think it was meant to be. To me, it accentuated that portion of the song. It was uncomfortable, but like most people find the unknown uncomfortable. And the fact that jarring delivery bothered me made it even more poignant. Because I didn’t know why it was there, it was an unknown sound with an unknown purpose.

I think the “Unknown Sounds” is supposed to feel unsettling-it is definitely intentional, even though I’m not sure what the reason is, it is more powerful that way!

Love ur reactions! This is by far my favorite song on the mixtape. It hits me different than any song he has done and i just love the whole vibe the song gives. And "Unknown Sounds" is one of my favorite parts of the song. Love listening to this in my car with the volume way up...takes me away from the stress for awhile 🖤

Probably my favorite track right now as I am ADD all over this track when it comes to picking a favorite. This one gets stuck in my head the most in a good way. Love it!
Also I love this song but I agree with the "UNKNOWN SOUNDS" should really be "Unknown Sounds" jarring is fairly accurate for this song but other than that (a small opinion based flaw) the whole mixtape is pretty much flawless

What's crazy is that I've watched other people react to music but yours my man. You actually analyze and go back to other songs that where he has building on himself. NF albums are like movies. If you think of depression and the pain that comes from it..it can feel like an addiction. The people who leave you are the ones you couldn't keep because of how your pain made you feel and react to their existence in your life. Injecting feelings of unwant and watching the people you love stop wanting you..it can feel like drifting. Depression feels like you are drifting through existence in the most negative way possible.

He has had the deep distorted echo on a few songs. Cigarettes on story, insignificant on this one. I have to wonder if those are little easter eggs for the next album. Maybe concepts or song titles. Its fun to think about these things
