Having just finished Playing Madness Returns, it really is awesome how well this fits into the game’s narrative.
My only regret is we didn’t get to stab that twisted therapist directly.

The translated lyrics you're showing aren't 100% accurate but they're close.

The more they close you in, the more they set you free.

I think the meaning of Spiegelbild is more like "mirror image" than "reflection".

The lyrics are most likely directly translated and don’t match up with the English version, that’s slightly annoying when trying to sing along and the lyrics aren’t the same, good effort tho

I mean. A more direct translation, while not very useful for singing the song in English, is usually what people expect when it comes to English translations on a non-English song. Interpretation of the meaning for a more meaningful translation (like OOMPH’s own English version, for example) is by necessity altering the song so it can still have meaning through translation. Both are equally useful, though only one is meant to be sung with in English. You can always listen to that version instead if you want to sing along
