it's an absolute sin that this song isn't on Spotify
Right?!
Aye mate its on Spotify now so your wishes have been grantes
it is now but for some reason it's rated "explicit"
Its on spotify
Oomph! makes great romantic songs
my favorite OOMPH! song ImI
loving it, OOMPH has such sweet songs, but badass at the same time. :)
this is such a beautiful song. it's one of my all-time favourites.
The only reason English is considered truly harder than other languages is because it doesn't have a phonetic orthography. But considering just the spoken language or if the written form were phonetic, English has many things that are more simplified in comparison to other languages when considering grammatical cases, verb conjugations, etc. Many irregularities exist in all languages. The most commonly used verbs in many languages have irregular forms. Lang's have many idioms, dialects, etc.
Honestly, if it weren't for conflicting "noun genders" learning German would be pretty easy. I have always spoken English, and my mom and younger sister can only speak English (but my sister is trying to learn Japanese, which is pretty awesome). I've learned Spanish and can speak fluently, but I never really took interest in it because I had a hard time connecting to it. In my opinion, if you can speak English + another language, every language you learn after is much easier. I've started teaching myself German (because I LOVE the German rock scene) and Korean because Kpop and Kdramas are very interesting. And from there, if you work hard, it gets easier :)))
If you want to learn another language, just submerge yourself in it!
Want to learn Korean? Watch Kdramas!
Want to learn Spanish? Try Telenovelas!
Want to learn Japanese? HELLO!? ANIME!!!
It's probably impossible to learn entirely that way, but the best way to get started is to be familiar with it. Just being able to distinguish one word from another (even if you don't know the meaning) is the first step!! Good luck :)
This is just for me personally, but I've found watching anime has done sweet FA in actually helping me learn Japanese - only actively learning has.
TheMightyKawama like I said, it's simply a way to become familiar with the language. It's impossible to learn entirely, but it is a great way to kinda take a "crash course"
+James Jeroham Shaffer BF? Are you gay? Not that it is a problem..
Want to learn German. Note down basic words from German songs n practice. It helps.
I've been listening to German rock music since freshman year (over a decade lol) and I've been slowly teaching myself German. My ignorant ass (not fully bio) fam tried to ask if I was a Nazi for learning a language that's "not useful" instead of caring that its my heritage. I'm 90% German but was born raised 2nd generation American.
Oomph! ist sehr gut!!!
Ja gut
I can listen to this song everyday and to this lovely voice.
do you still feel the same?
Masterpiece
I wanted to say, that "Ich weiß du willst es auch" means "I know you want it too".
thank you for translating! :D
thank you very much for putting up with my ignorance. i love this band.
Es ist einfach nur toll!
Durch das Lied fühl ich mich schon viel besser^^
deros voice is like velvet on your skin... love you dero ♥

Cooles Video :3
one of my favs
einfach geilllll
:)
this song makes me feel safe
How does it feel to be 10 years older than you were when you posted this comment?
@@untamedfox35 still depressed and looking for security but at least I'm not living at an abusive home anymore. Now im just dealing with the mental trauma of it all. Hows life for you my dude. Tell me all about it. ♡ ps this comment made me laugh. Made my shitty day better.
@@unspokenslave Wow, you actually responded! Hi, I'm sorry you've been so unfortunate in the past, and glad a few things have improved for you despite your current feelings on it all. I'm sure you'll find the security you're looking for one way or another.
And (as for myself) I'm actually just getting my life started, moved in with my brother, and I too had an abusive past to leave behind.
I still have some PTSD to overcome, but (overall) I've never had more freedom and I actually love this song cause it reminds me of my bestfriend I met 5 years ago and only just now started dating.
I'm very fortunate to have someone like him in my life, but I fear I may lose him to the military and my life has a pattern of giving me good things and then taking them away. So I can only hope we have something that can survive the odds.
Wie Schön 👍🤩
Just discovered this band today, and I already love their music! German music is just so awesome!
English is a mix of Germanic and Romantic languages
Which is why you'll find similarities from both german and spanish in english
But you probably wont find many(if not none) similarities with words between say Italian and German
Thank you. I'll look him up.
Loooooove this song !!
woow. great song , really great
oopmh is einfach hamma geil
My favourite song in life!
the chorus is super catchy
Oomph ist einfach genial=)
It's been so long since I've heard this song
wow this song truly is amazing
wow this song's beautiful...
This song is what helps me sleep. Oomph lullaby for the epic win! :3
In English, the "GH" at the end of enough makes the "F" sound
the "O" in women makes the short "i" sound
and "TI" in nation makes the "SH" sound
So GHOTI is pronounced like FISH. English is, by fay, the hardest language to learn.
THANKS
ya i love this song too.
Ich weiss du willst es auch (I know you want it too)
Endlich kannst dus spürn (Finally you can feel it)
Nichts hält mich jetzt noch auf (Nothing will stop me now)
Das lied ist echt toll :)
Yeah but what makes learning English easy is that the language is everywhere and you keep hearing it everywhere. Where do you hear Finnish? Nowhere. Plus it is really hard language, we often get confused with the grammar. Helvetin vaikea kieli etten sanoisi. :DD
Ich liebe diesen song wirklich voll *_*
that song is art
This makes me think of girl I know who not only moved far away but is German and introduced me to oomph, oh and took my heart with her when she moved
Really disappointed I can't find this on Spotify.
not sure why its not on there, makes me rather sad :/
Arianna Davis if you fool Spotify into thinking your in Germany then it will be in German. Wish we didn't have to though
Tuyuca from eastern Amazon was ranked the most difficult. German has three relative pronouns, tuyuca has 50-140. That's a lot of grammar to learn.
My favorite song by them! Oomph! rules!
Warte, dass die zeit verrint
Denn ich will dich wiedersehn
Warte, dass die nacht beginnt
Ich kann dir nicht widerstehn
Ich weiss du bist allein
Denn ich kann dich spürn
Uns kann nichts entzwein
Niemand ausser mir weiss was du fühlst
Ich lass dich nie mehr...
Niemand ausser mir weiss was du willst
Ich lass dich nie mehr...
Niemand ausser mir weiss wer du bist
Ich lass dich nie mehr gehen
Tauche in die sommernacht
Nehme deine fährte auf
Noch bevor der sturm erwacht
Nimmt das schicksal seinen lauf
Ich weiss du bist allein
Denn ich kann dich spürn
Uns kann nichts entzwein
Niemand ausser mir weiss was du fühlst
Ich lass dich nie mehr...
Niemand ausser mir weiss was du willst
Ich lass dich nie mehr...
Niemand ausser mir weiss wer du bist
Ich lass dich nie mehr gehen
Ich weiss du willst es auch
Endlich kannst du s spürn
Nichts hält mich jetzt noch auf
Niemand ausser mir weiss was du fühlst
Ich lass dich nie mehr...
Niemand ausser mir weiss was du willst
Ich lass dich nie mehr...
Niemand ausser mir weiss wer du bist
Ich lass dich nie mehr gehen
Dankeschön =)
englisch und deutsch sind "schwester sprachen"... und ich spreche beide Oomph zu verdanken!
english and german are "sister languages"... and i speak both thanks to Oopmh!
i have this song as a ringtone
@Terminatrix6 I am taking French in school and I'm pretty good at it, but I'd like to advance more. I'm interested in German too. Do you know any good websites or programs that can help you learn languages? Preferably free ones?
Oomph ist eine der geilsten deutschen Bands
i noticed that you messed up on the subject verb aggrement with "ich" and "gehen" when its ich,its gehe.letting you know.
love the video and song so much :)
Para ti, cual es el mas dificil? Creo que hoy en dia la gente no va a pensar que sea el ingles porque es una obligacion aprenderlo desde muy temprano y eso cambia la perspectiva. En algunos sentidos, el ingles es una simplifacion del aleman (casos gramaticales, conjugacion, por ejemplo) pero en algunos sentidos el ingles es mas dificil (ortografia, por ejemplo).
@DarkestItachi Why, sure, I'd love to =D
I'm glad to help someone and, well, you can't get to learn a language that easy if not in school... btw, you're having german class or something?
Also, you have any chat programs like MSN? That'd make it a lot easyer
English is the hardest language to learn in the world because there is so much slang and different accents and ways to say words uwu;;
Good shit, Maynard.
jaydekonah Doesn't sound like Tool to me...
I;m with wolf, english is probably the hardest language to learn, everything breaks rules and we don't have those little lines above our letters to let you know if they're short or long vowel or whatever.
I am visitor # 110000 :-) great song by the way!!
@TakiroChan well the thing is i am learning it cause if i want to know what they saying because they sound cool and if they sound cool imagin what they are saying
English has 70-92, plus several different words that mean the same thing and words that sound the same but are spelled differently and mean different things.
As for the Tuyuca thing, it all depends on which list you're looking at. I looked at four charts, it was not listed on three and on the other it was ranked 3rd.
@HojoOSanagi Im pretty sure that they meant it is one of the languages English derives from. I would be so hard on them.
Auf welchem Album ist das Lied zu finden?
Pronunciation doesn't automatically make a language difficult to learn. You would think that French is extremely difficult with the difference between pronunciation and writing, but then comes the grammar and lowers the difficulty. Sure, pronunciation is very important, but so is grammar. Hearing a word once helps a lot when pronouncing it, but grammar takes "a little" more than that.
Maybe because they learned only English, for example Serbian have 7 grammatical cases, we only don't have ablative. This means that one noun in Serbian may have 14 forms.
The dots don't actually lengthen the letter, they... They're just a part of an individual letter. Like in German you have the double S and umlaut-U (Ü) letters. Also, A and Ä (+ O and Ö) sound quite different... So the dotted A doesn't have anything to do with the "dotless" A.
Niemand außer mir weiß was du willst, ich lass dich nie mehr gehen
From what album is this song?!
Thankfully, no. They did an album called Truth Or Dare that was mostly English translations(bad ones mostly) of some of their most popular ones. True Beauty Is So Painful is the only song I really recommend off that album though.
Uhm...what album is this on??
Doesn't sound very oomph'y, to be honest..but still, I'm curious to know how many other OOMPH! songs I lack D:
Oomph
Einfach nur geil...
Vielleicht geht mein WUnsch ja in Erfüllung...
Was ist denn dieser Wunsch? Und ist dieser noch aktuell?
i love the guy who sings this. how do you pronounce the funny, B-shaped thing?
@MiracleofaSong The same thing happened to me. I tried for 3 years to learn spanish and all I could do is say silly sentences. At the time i was listening to Rammstein and then discovered Oomph! a few years ago and am now taking German in college and I've already learned more German from listening to those 2 bands then I did for 3 years of spanish class.
Idk why, but hearing this song makes me feel I´m listening to Blutengel...There is something on Goi´s voice that reminds of Chris Phol....Would they make a good combo??
@lan33er that's not what I meant. But a lot of people'd love to learn a language because of the things you mentioned, but simply can't find anyone teaching them. (btw I never thought that you'd have to understand what they're singing even if they sound cool.. same with me and japanese rock ^^)
@XrockerXmosherX Agreed. I'm actually learning my English grammar much better than before because I'm trying to apply the grammar from german to english. XD So far it's worked!
I dumb things down for people so that the majority understands. I know how I say it can be seen as not fully true but then again it's dumbed down quite a bit. I explain enough for basic understanding, to avoid stupid questions.
@XrockerXmosherX youre right the angel (cause of them england) and sachsen came to england and were its inhabitants the juten had something to do with it too
natasha i could give some german lessons.let me know how can i reach you
Lines above letters? You mean Ä and Ö? They're their own individual letters. Not sure if you meant that or not though.
@XrockerXmosherX English isn't just a Germanic language its an Indo-Europe language that comes more from Latin. there are more Latin words in English than German.
@MistiBear101
Spanish is similar to German because of loan words in trade, the fact that Latin has a bit of influence on German as on all Western European languages, both of your countries at one point were ruled by Gothic tribes which helped shape both languages, and because of similarities in Indo-European languages overall.
As far as I know its German, Italian, Latin, and Spanish mostly a latin language but since it's structure is Germanic it is a Germanic language. Example: Adjective then noun(Fat cat)(Germanic) noun then adjective(Cat fat)(Latin).
@germanmetalgurl16
I always loved how european languages have roots in each other. makes learning them alot easier, cus you can listen for more familiar words and get the gist of what's being said half the time ;D
Mandarin is its own language thought. In English you have German, Greek, french, just to name a few influences.. For example, does the "S" always make the "s" sound? No, and there is atlease one other sequence of letters that make the same sound ("ce"). In languages like mandarin, or Japanese (cause I know a little of the latter), words are spelt how they are said, English doesn't do that and that makes it more complicated to learn.
you are correct english is the hardest language to learn. The proof is in our schools. Schools in america teach english for 12 years and in other schools around the world it takes (and i'm not sure on this but) 8 to 9 years in in school to master there language. (pardon my miss spells I have just woken up and cannot think straight)
@4everUSNavy They are from Axis Powers Hetalia, just watch the anime and (hopefully) you'll understand who am I talking about ^^".
@XrockerXmosherX yeah and German grammar is so different...so difficult...ich weiss nicht.
❤
@babylette100 you said this one year ago but... if you want to - and if you didn't learn it yet - I could actually teach you a bit of german, as I myself am german :P
english and german are both germanic languages, they descended from the same groups of language.
Isn't English a mix of various languages?
Oomph is einfach der Hammer, ich bedaure jeden der kein deutsch kann.
Oomph is really fantastic, I regret all people who don't understand german.
@MiracleofaSong You and me both. : )
this is good for my german we had an assigment about music guess who cheated and wrote oomph (it wasn't one oh the thingies)
@lan33er hm, nearly right, madchen xD but srsly didn't you ever want to speak a language but couldn't learn it because of not existing teachers and hard grammar?
I wouldn't know, i've never tried it.
@nicklucy94
All European languages excluding Finnish, Estonia, Basque, Saami and Hungarian are Indo-European and English has twice as many Germanic words than it does Latin that are used by the average English speaker, excluding advanced scientific terminology, etc.. You can call English a Hybrid but most definitely not a Romantic language.
