Old fucking school! Nice to see someone bringing back the classics.
Wow, talk about hip strength. I think I just found my new favorite sweep.
Is it a simple hip bump sweep?
jen jitsu nah it’s more of a flower sweep without grabbing the leg but it requires you to stay really right and you have to have full control of the posting hand plus timing is key to it.
@@stutteringdisciple1919 Yeah, I was thinking it's like a cross between hip bump and flower sweep. I keep watching these highlights in slow-motion, taking notes :-).
@@jephthai It's covered in john danaher's closed guard instructional. There is a couple different variations shown throughout this video, but a common theme is that something is done to get a hand, elbow, shoulder, or hip/butt to the mat (listed from least to most effective). Then it is quite easy to finish with a hip bump sweep from those positions. The first highlight is a flower sweep variation that is done so powerfully that it got a shoulder and a hip to the mat, making it insanely easy to step through for the hip bump sweep. The second highlight is the same, but it only got a hip to the mat. Most of these are a combo to that effect. Something gets a hand, elbow, shoulder, or hip to the mat and then a hip bump sweep (or a variation of one) is performed.
Hip bump sweep from hell on this guy. He makes it look too easy.
This is like a flower sweep but he doesn’t grab the leg. Clean sweeps.
Love his game, future black belt world champ!
Green Lantern Guard. Using crazy core-strength he simply wills the person into mount. Wow.
no solo es el barrido si no la lectura y el momentum, de sentir donde esta el desbalance gravitatorio del rival para atacarlo justo ahi!! es brutal
Great job!
Closed guard sweeping machine
His hips are supernatural.
This is some of the most beautiful JiuJiutsu
How would one go about improving your hip strength for the closed guard
Melhor guarda fechada do mundo.
I like the way he does the muscle sweep because he doesn't compromise his back/spine the way I was taught and the way most people I see do it. I have a bad back so I stay away from the sweep but maybe I can make some changes in the set up and do it this way.
Holy core strength!
Wow god damn! Awesome
Monstrão do jiu Jitsu
Dammm that's a strong guard
8 dislikes. Those are probably from 8 people he swept from the guard.
Best Closed Guard since Roger.
❤
What's amazing to me is that those sweeps are the most basic of sweeps. White belt shit.....and it's BRILLIANT! Block a side and take them in that direction

Any tutorial on this technkque please?
Hip Trust with 240kg 8x8x2
Damn...I'll pay money to learn that sweep that well. I do that but it's not as strong.
Helps to have long legs with strong hip and core strength
A Musica parece a da abertura do Jiban
Man...made that sweep look easy
Anyone know what the sweep is called when his opponent stands up in his guard, and he takes the foot?
Muscle sweep.
How he do dat
Tjacqueline Krawec is tjacqueline your real name?
Tjacqueline Krawec hip strenght, timing, felling, squezen the knees together to make pressure, when the guy relax, now u have space, and that is the time to get the hip on the air and cross the knee on the oposite side that u want to sweep of the oponent(is diferent than the one that you use the kimura to sweep)", grips (sometimes), and for sure all that came from hard work/drilling/specific.
Tjacqueline Krawec alliancé baby?
Whats the name for the sweep?)
i mean that sweep he does in the begining of the video
Looks like variation of a flower sweep
he stole my style
How does he do that?
Id like to know too. Can someone post an instructional for the sweep?
@nightwolf6x Thanks captain obvious. Tell us more!
Clearly you didn't read my question. I never asked why he plays guard. I asked HOW he does the sweep.
Who are the 6 idiots that disliked this video???
