    Thanks so much for this tutorial👏👏👏👏. I’ve had an se425 machine with a set of hoops for about five years and didn’t know how to use it. But with this video I’m going to try it and feed you back on the results. God bless you.

    Thank you! I needed exactly this tutorial. Did you use a stabilizer on the back of the towel?

      Your welcome. I only used the water soluble transparent stabilizer on the top nothing on the bottom.

    Very nice. I have the same machine. When I did the second half of the name the letters were a different size. Not sure what I did🤔

      Hi Darlene, when I do the second half, I always make sure that all the settings are correct including the size. Just a tip. Have fun!

    You are great!! How so you male sure you syary4tje second part in the correct possiton? Does this work with script names? Please help!

      Hi Ana, I haven’t embroidered script. It would probably be a little bit harder than the name. I would suggest you try it out on a scrap fabric first so you won’t ruin your fabric. Just make sure to remember your starting point on your first and second. The best way for me to remember my starting point for the second half was to start from the very left edge when I first did my first half. It takes some practice but you’ll get it.

    Nice video. Do you clip the threads between letters? And between the lower portion of an "I" and the dot?

  • @msmaryjo1955
    @msmaryjo1955 Před 2 lety

    I found the video skips over the most important step with is aligning the second set of stitches with the first. I found the second set ran over the last letter. Can you go into more detail as how to do this?

    • @skillfullyyoursmaris4425
      @skillfullyyoursmaris4425  Před 2 lety

      The key is when you do the first set start from the very edge on the left and the top. That way when you do the second set your left margin is already positioned. All you have to do is adjust the first letter of the second set to align the last letter of the first set from the top or beginning of the stitch. Keep pressing the align button until you are confident that it is aligned. There is no perfect way to do it with the se400, you’ll have to make sure it is aligned before you start stitching but the important key is knowing where you started your first set.
