the fact that bro is working for Hasan and simultaneously defending AMAZON is hilarious
Trust me, Hasan, just like his connections through The Young Turks, literally named after a genocide that the group has only just began to acknowledge, aren't Socialists or Communists, they are what one would call a champagne Socialist. He is a grifter Capitalist that takes advantage of his young audience's naivety for profit. He complains about wealth disparity while owning a mansion and dozens of luxury cars that he continuously brags about on his streams and social media. He argues against company exploitation and human rights violations committed by these companies yet shills and directly collaborates with Amazon, one of the worst violators in both categories. He argues about the social class struggle while he is probably one of the most privileged groups on the planet (from a socio-economic and political stance), though he will spout how discriminated he is. There are many more discrepancies between what he claims to fight for and support and what he actually is but it would take an entire doctorate's research paper to go over. For instance, we could discuss how he is part of the political homogeneity which represents the establishment corporations and supported almost ubiquitously by the wealthy elites and global power moguls yet claims that he represents the peasantry.
He uses the luxuries of Capitalism to espouse the greatness of Socialism, all of the countries which throughout history decayed into an authoritarian dictatorship, with a crumbling economy constantly bouncing between hyper-inflation and recessions, and some of the worst offenses of human rights violations and wealth gaps between economic classes, far worse than what Capitalism ever had, to turn a profit on dreamers; he literally runs ads and shills for corporations more than any other Twitch streamer in existence.

@@TheOnlyBiodudeThatâs not what she said at all though. She said that moving to Kick would be compromising to her ethics. But she still has her Twitch partnership and has no need to give it up. Sheâs trying to place herself on a moral high ground, which is just a silly stance when sheâs already ânae naeâd her soulâ as you put it.
I like how Charlie is trying to logically argue with people who fight with their emotions.
As someone who worked at an amazon warehouse and experienced firsthand how terrible they are to workers, at this point id rather support a gambling site than amazon even though theyâre both bad.
I have permanent health issues from working at amazon, and they overworked us so badly that I actually had TWO MINISTROKES in my time working there due to overheating, overworking, and not having enough time to drink water or use the bathroom without being penalized. Two ministrokes at the age of 20, thatâs how much of a sweatshop amazon is. I was hallucinating and slurring my words, my face was sunken and twitching and the on-site safety worker had to personally drive me to the emergency room.
They paid 17.25 an hour which is really good, but little did I know that all of the money I made at amazon would end up going towards my medical bills for the next year.
Not only did I go into debt and become homeless because of amazon, I still deal with chronic life altering illnesses due to working there. Which pretty much makes it a gambling-tier issue.
People are just picking sides because they like to feel like theyâre ârightâ and âmoralâ over other people. Either that, or theyâre just completely ignorant to how bad amazon is.
People have died at amazon and nobody even knows that because they try so hard to cover up anything that could make them look bad. They lure you in with good pay even without qualifications (preying on the most financially vulnerable, they donât even interview you, they just do a mouth swab drug test and youâre hired), diversity, free shoes, fancy breakrooms stocked with food. They donât tell you that your entire paycheck will end up going to their amazon care doctors because they wonât let you get workerâs compensation unless you meet a very specific nearly impossible list of requirements to prove that amazon was responsible for your injury or illness.
At least kick is straight up about what they do, and give people the option to support their favorite streamers without participating in that part of their business.
It's good to get a first hand response on how corrupt Amazon actually is
@@lukerichardson6084 feels important to share when ppl defending amazon donât seem to be able to grasp the kind of things a company that massive is capable of
Idek why its a debate some of these big streamers seem to be so sheltered n out of touch that they donât realize money has more power than the law when it comes to business, doesnât help anyone to minimize a type of corruption jus to prove a point ab another type of corruption lol. Goofy
A lot of times when you say a business is immoral, people assume the unethical issues only happen overseas in associated sweatshops and automatically decide that they don't care. Not only is that in itself fucked up (refusing to care if the workers whose rights are violated aren't from your country) but it's also naive to think that Amazon isn't actively committing horrific acts in your own home country as well.
@@morganicsmoothie964 Youâre absolutely right! And if this is how it is here in the US, imagine how bad it must be in countries that are more unregulated when it comes to labor laws and safety. Itâs horrific to think that my experiences at amazon are only the tip of the iceberg.
Itâs easy to ignore corruption until you see and feel it firsthand. Only thing this debate has revealed is how ignorant ppl are when it comes to things that donât directly affect them.
Lot of workers wont even say anything because theyâre so used to being manipulated and mistreated and they tell themselves âitâs just how it is, nobody cares and thereâs nothing i can do, I need to work harder. my coworkers seem to be handling this, so why cant i? I need to put my head down, fix my mindset, the harder i work the stronger i am right?â
I hate throwing around psych terms like this, but workers really do get gaslit into thinking its okay to be physically and mentally abused because of all these âperksâ and âopportunitiesâ that amazon waves in front of your face like a carrot on a stick. Thereâs propaganda-like posters everywhere, they have these almost comedic corporate meetings to make you focus on âpositivityâ and âteamworkâ etc. The juxtaposition of the experience vs the brainwashing would be almost laughable if it wasnât so effective.
To this day my rational mind tells me that I nearly died in that warehouse, but my emotional mind tells me that I miss working there sometimes, or that I mightâve been overreacting despite ending up in hospital on multiple occasions. If thatâs not a result of corporate brainwashing then idk what is.
Ofc people will minimize the corruption if even the workers are trained DAILY to minimize their own experience. This shit runs deep and I hope more people start speaking on it
Sheâs the very definition of cringe and I donât even use that term often.
Agreed with ya.

Hassanâs editor a true definition of being a gaslighter. Rather than countering arguments that exposes the truth, he instead tries to blow it off while also trying to make excuses to make the âcompetitorâ look like the âtrue villainâ. Thatâs like saying the Power Balance bracelets âdefinitely help make you feel active and lose weightâ while also, deflecting and avoiding counter arguments about them being âuseless rubber bracelets for decorationâ.
If gaslighters gaslight, they shouldn't be surprised when it blows up in their face.
Common commie tactic.
Pokimane : " I have job ethics and morals "
* proceeds to not work and squeeze simps out of their money for easy revenue.*
Local news: man invents argument and gets angry about it.
The man had the balls to quote "It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his bags depends on his not understanding it" but somehow not realize the irony of him doing exactly that? Was that a self-report?
I mean... It would be pretty in-character for his voting block.
"They are arguing a version of me they made in my mind"
I get that sh!t _all_ the time.
Most people can't handle their ideas being systematically defeated.
Instead of accepting the fact that they were wrong, they turtle and start making stuff up.

Hasan and Vaush learned that tactic from Destiny lol

Ahh yes, Pokimane. The very definition of moral. Sorry, but I could exactly hear her words over the loud echos of her past actions countering her statement.
the false flagging and threats of lawsuits over criticism đđ€

@@4cps777 honey, the problem that sparked it was how she insulted everyone on kick. The whole point of charlie's 3 paragraphs were to explain how twitch ain't better than kick in moral high ground. So no, she is not, as a matter of fact, right. Twitch isn't the undeniable moral choice.
@@jeanremi8384 they deleted their comment lmao
It was pretty uncomfortable trying to watch her validate her moral superiority and berate those going to Kick. I'm not aware of all her prior shenanigans, but she just came across very passive-aggressive and snide. Hope that she can get off the high horse and understand she also works for a company that doesn't allow humane breaks for its staff.
Great vid hero, I didn't even know this was going on and this was a perfect way to sum it all upđ
When Charlie is able to spot drama and talked about it, real shit go down the drain over those petty Twitter Freaks
Makes sense that Hassan's editor gives off the same "I'm better than all of you" champagne socialist vibes he does
Hassan is a disgrace for socialist lol
This is like people who work for Nestle, calling Hershey's "evil."
I can hear Charlie talk like in his youtube videos whenever he makes a tweet
Charlieâs rock solid logic and ability to resist diversion weathers the cringe-take storm as usual. Love the guy.
How can Twitter be mad at Florida Jesus.
Because he makes good points and solid arguments.
Because he also looks like Jesus
"They hate him because he speaks the truth"
"Florida man" . Correction, charlie is also part of twitter.
Because twitter hates both Florida AND Jesus
Charlie bodied that clown more than he needed to. Good work Charlie.
Complete evisceration is the only way these type of people understand that they might be wrong. Being delusional about yourself and the world is being promoted and excepted more and more nowadays.
I still can't get past the fact that there are people with no discernable talent or skill who make millions of dollars (whether on Twitch or Kick) literally just sitting in front of their computers lazily dicking around on the internet...
Charlies argument the whole time is well put together understandable and very valid. He isn't even showing bias towards anything claiming they are both bad. The guy just didn't want to lose and argument when he should have been like "Hmm, yeah good point Charlie. You're right I changed my mind."
I mean he's a political streamer's editor, it's a pretty complex field gets your head knocked out to another dimension
Anything that offends Twitter is an automatic win.

Not exactly a high bar; just disagree with them on anything (which is easy because twitter users are insane) and that's enough for them to wish death upon you.
NFT's, CP and AI generated "art:" Hello there

I don't always agree with Charlie 100% of the time, but ngl, you're asking for yourself to be humiliated if you're trying to challenge this guy on subject. He will pick apart and destroy everything you say in spectacular fashion.
Yea, and I can respect that he doesn't expect people to agree with him 100% of the time. He paints the world in the moral grey that it is instead of using straw men to ride a high horse. He isn't condemning Twitch streamers, but asking why Twitch streamers would condemn Kick as if Amazon is a better company?
@@kylesmith7413 And its a good question to ask. Streamers complain about all the crap Twitch has been trying to do to screw them over, especially recently with the stuff with sponsors/ads and then they mysteriously forget and act like Twitch is a good pure platform whenever alternatives (whether just as bad or better) like Kick come up. Twitch will continue to do whatever they want to you as long as you let them continue to have a vice grip on your balls. They need competition and if CZcams streaming doesn't step it up somewhere else is going to have to.
â@@kylesmith7413Nuance is dead nowadays, Both by people saying it is all the while watching the world in black and white and by people who say not supporting one side (which is their own) is allowing the bad guys to win, Nuance wasn't just dead, it was raped, sodomized and beaten to death until it was stuffed inside a drum to be thrown off a cliff.
I mean, when you openly call the company you work "evil" and "human rights violators," and proceed to keep working for them for going on a decade, it's pretty cringe. It'd be like Russian commandos calling out their country's totalitarian policies before immediately deploying to assault the Ukraine. Lol. All these streamers and CZcamsrs are trying to maintain the high ground when they're all guilty of the same shit.
@@jtdarelli2362 I mean if you live in America then you do realise that its a nation built on slavery right? Why so you continue to live there? Charlie has way more patience engaging in this discussion than most, and he definitely was doing his best in those responses to be straightforward with his reasoning. He was merely pointing out that standing on a taller pile of shit than others around you doesn't give you the moral high ground. It just gives you shittier shoes when someone notices.
Very cool how HeroHei is now a hoi4 player
The words âTwitter usersâ and âupsetâ in the same sentence make any concerns I may have disappear instantly
If Pokimane's "morals" compels her to shill for Amazon, that doesn't speak highly of her moral code. I would prefer if she was honest and stopped virtue signaling
Pokimane and virtue signaling are as inseparable as socialism and famine.
Hasan editor is so filled with rage the tears coming out his eyes are blinding him from reading.
Yeah hasan's editor didn't really explain his point well. What he's trying to say is that Adin Ross was literally paid off by Stake to advertise gambling to minors, and he's been very open to admitting this in the past and present. At the same time, Charlie makes a good point about both companies being at equal evil. Both sites do shitty things, although in my opinion, the dealbreaker was Kick completely allowing Adin Ross to roam free and spew hate speech on the platform. He's broken TOS so many times on basis of hate speech and Kick just turns their heads the other way while he incites violence against trans people.
@@Frickno-fl9ulI thought Twitch has had a very similar issue with TOS violations, people like Adin Ross inciting violence against trans + queer + etc folks many times over in the recent past.
Back when CSGO Gambling sites and kickbacks from those gambling sites were a big thing, streamers funneled a ton of minors into 3rd party gambling sites, gacha games, etc.
and also IP2 streamers like IcePoseidon, Bladee, (or others associated with the ip2 RV gang) I believe came back multiple times from being banned for their irl stunts involving text to speech and b*mb threats. Twitch is no different. Same monster, different color.
They just have more $ to moderate and censor nowadays.
@@Tayl0r_ While it is true that Twitch has had these people in their past, a good lot of them are now permanently banned from the platform. Twitch is usually nowadays good at actually enforcing their guidelines on things like hate speech. I do know this happened in the past, however it doesn't match what is happening in the modern day. However, Adin Ross is still inciting violence against various minorities on Kick, and has been "threatened". he was signed on the platform a month before so obviously nothing will come from it. In my opinion a company that used to do these things is better than a company that endorses, signs on creators, encourages and is too spineless to even think about banning creators who promote hate speech. In other words, Twitch just has better moderation and morals coming to minority hate speech.
Just like hasan
@@Frickno-fl9ul Just wait. This company is a few years behind due to the fact they are new to a well established market, and do not have the budget twitch/amazon does rn.
Itâs not fair to equate them in a 1:1 comparison.
However Twitch is no different, do not disillusion yourself.
The difference between the two platforms is only money/income, and time. The only reason Twitch has better moderation is due to the pressure theyâre under since they have a monopoly on the market, therefore more advertizers and stockholders to please.
If Kick had the same resources (and scrutiny), it would be no different. All these streaming services are a cancer and you should not be as comfortable as you are rn.
Kick has no ads promoting the gambling tho LMAOO
its hard to win an argument against a smart man, impossible to win an argument against an idiot
Just came across your channel. LOVE YOUR journalism. Itâs very non biased and is just telling what is happening.
Itâs a breath of fresh air to hear someone omitting their opinion in the news and than clarify when they are not. Great content, definitely keeping up and telling friends to as well đ«Ąđ„
You know, if she just said "Nah i'm comfortable with this, it's cool"
Instead of talking about morals and being herself, etc etc
At least her ego is more realistic than her personality
Gotta agree with Charlie on this one, Amazon and Stake are unfortunately both bad and people seem to forget that about Amazon and give Twitch a free pass. I wouldn't fault someone for jumping between the two.

One of the most insufferable things to do in a discussion is to gloss over crucial points being made. They're actively just trying to have a bad faith discussion at that point.
They can't argue they go from throwing their points to going ad hominem
I'm glad that Charlie protected his arguments 'till the end and didn't hesitate writing paragraphs of text.
