I been there my self being stuck in a wheel chair and on a trilogy vent kinda nixes my travel plans watching vlogs is my escape you just gotta take it a day at a time and surround yourself with positivity.
For me, following your journey through parenthood and your daily lives is a wonderful way to stay connected with your subscribers, also your vegan experiences and thrift shop buying is wonderful.

Hi Raya! A few months ago on IG I told you you're wedding retreat inspired me to join a yoga studio. I did it with my mental health in mind, no other reason. I'm happy to say I've done 64 classes, I'm on class #17 to complete 30 classes in 60 days and I have until 3/5 to do it!!! I've grown so much in all the ways! That's why I follow your channel. You guys inspire me to be better. And give wonderful ideas on how to do so. Thank you for being you, both of you!!!

I love thrifting!! I am an interior designer and my entire home is thrifted. My style is a very minimal design with natural elements. I wanted my home to look like a magazine without paying luxury price. Absolutely prefer thrifting and yard sales over going to a retail store.
I love it also! You should see the brocantes in France! You should take a trip there & have that experience & splurge. There are interior designers in Los Angeles…that go there just for this. Raya & Louis can easily do this now as well! ❤

I’ve deeply enjoyed watching you guys’ adventure in LIFE period! I feel that you’ve always seemed to have a particularly beautiful niche of sharing your love story and the ups and downs of married/engaged/couples life. Even your adventure to the altar was amazing! Whether you knew ahead of time that that’s what you were doing- I believe your Skoolie adventure WAS your adventure to the altar! You guys got engaged after that but it was the whole move to Costa Rica that seemed to set the tone for your next life chapter! It just felt like the ring was coming the whole time lol. ❤I feel like all the travel has been awesome but the true underlying story in it you’ve been telling along the way is your life journey. So all that being said, I’m excited to just learn what you’re learning about becoming parents! Even settling in AND at some point learning to travel as parents! Your holistic remedies for mother and fatherhood! All of that is so fun to witness and learn alongside you guys. ♥️ I’d love to hear Rayas take on emotional education for baby and just the thoughts you have about raising your child to be a care taker (self care and even as a young man for those he loves some day- cuz it all starts from the beginning). I feel that even this would be beautiful from Louis side of the story, as we’ve watched him grow more and more into husbandry and manhood in his own ways! You guys just have this glow of being such tender caring and fun loving people and to see how you raise your son to model that same love in the earth- I feel like that’s going to be such a blessing to many!! This is probably my favorite vlog ever on whole CZcams. It feld so calming and fun watching you building up your home and explore the world of building roots and settle on a place. I really think that humans need to settle for some time to really connect to a place and feel like being bonded to the community and culture. I love that you experience that together while you are becoming a family. It really suits to the nest instinct we women have when we are getting pregnant. It‘s lively to watch how you enjoy the calming down and built up routines. ❤️

When we bought our 1st home our daughter was 8 mos old!, I bought EVERYTHING at yard sales on the w/e's, thrift stores (there wasn't FB marketplace!) Which brings me to my hopefully good suggestion for you guys, we have a free Facebook page in my town! I see the most beautiful stuff - especially for babies!! From maternity clothes, baby clothes, bottles, breast pumps everything & anything you can think of! And furniture for the house too!!! You're really doing a fantastic job getting your home set up!! Such an exciting time!

I grew up with my dad taking me to Sunday boot sales and charity shops and now I’m older I love thrifting!
We have a 4 month old daughter and the hand me down clothes have really helped us - like you said they grow out of them so quickly and we love passing them onto others once she’s outgrown them 😊
Head along the coast to Seaford. A visit to view the Seven Sisters Cliffs is a must. Also a short drive inland to Lewes. It’s a town that is historic and has a really cool vibe and loads of great places to eat and cool shops.

A good thing to hunt out is muslin cloths, you will use lots and lots and lots of them when your baby eventually arrives. So include them in your hunt for sustainable things. I sold all my muslins at a second hand baby fair.

I loveeeee shopping in charity shops! As someone who lives alone, it's vital that I look after my money but I also like to dress myself and decorate my home so charity shopping is the nice middle ground between the two 😊
It's really interesting to see you both hitting a new stage of life together. You both may feel slightly different about it, but just make sure you have a safe space to express your feelings about the change without judgement. Also, taking your foot off the gas gives time for deeper thinking and development and a chance to realign, so I think you've picked a perfect time to do so before baby boy gets here ❤️

Great episode - charity shops are the best - I always feel the pre-loved items bring a sense of character with them where new items are just stuff. I bought some beautiful white work table cloths from one and didn’t look like they had ever been used. Oxfam used to sell online - it might give you more choice if you’re looking for something specific - they also have amazing bookshops.

Raya and Louis - I am thoroughly enjoying your journey exploring sustainable living in your new community/home in the UK. This video alone gave me such insight while reminding me to recommit to my goal of living more sustainably. It is not easy and we need videos like these. Also…the UK is my new adventure! I live in Canada but started travelling to the UK with my family in 2015 and now we are in love with the country. We ventured beyond London, went hiking in the Yorkshire Dales and now can’t wait to return. You guys have good , grounding energy. I would do two freezers to freeze ,broths, foods, jars of foods, smoothies. Use jars, thermos for ready to go foods, soups,drinks anywhere for quicker eating and less cleanup...

They are great vegan food and vegan choices in all the restaurants you go to, the sustainable living choice ideas in furniture and home products, seeing how you live your life in your new environments. The big thing I love is how excited you get over connecting with nature and simple things!
