Well I agree with you but not 100%. Getting rid of Diggs was important: his ego is just too big and I will never forgive him for not making that easy catch in the playoff game against the Chiefs last season. His hands were so far apart that he didn't even touch the ball.. Looked like sabotage to me and we lost because of it. And the rest of the team played so damn good, all the substitues in the D. Offence was also topnotch and Allen was outstanding. What a bitter, frustrating loss!
But purchasing Scantling from the Chiefs is a waste of money. He sucked when playing for the Packers and the Chiefs.
I wouldn’t count them out. At least not of the postseason. They have made good moves, they have Allen, they will be in it.
The O line has been a great plus this past season, no doubt we NEED that to keep improving. Personally I think Diggs was all good for us, but since Davis didn't even come close to a #2's involvement. Diggs was just not happy and may have had hidden rib injury. But Samuels, Shakir and Kincaid are all going to be bigger surprises.
Letting tre white go should not have been a hard choice Crip missed like 20 games in 2 seasons

I'm concerned about how much talent they let go, and replaced it with all unknown players.
The Super Bowl bills had under 10 players on the 4th Super Bowl team that were on the 1st Super Bowl and that was before the Free agency system in place today. Constant roster turnover is a necessity.
That's because you are smarter than everyone else. They lost a top 5 wide receiver and replaced him with a guy slower than most Tight Ends. Worst wide receiver room in the NFL.

In the way I look at it there going to use a more 49ers type playbook with Curtis Samuel possibly in the backfield and Coleman Knox and Kincaid will all be valuable weapons to the play action

Curtis Samuel is gonna have to have his Best year ever just to reach Diggs worst year in Buffalo! Well the receiver core is diffantly going to have to work together if they are going to hang in at the top of the AFC North this year...

It’s not about ONE player replacing Diggs. That’s not gonna happen. That said, can we expect Samuel to replace Diggs’ statistical production from the second half of the 2023 season? I bet he surpasses it…easily.

What losing streak dummy? They have been one of the winningest teams in the league over the last five years. One QB has more wins in the last five years over Allen and that's Mahomes. One.
@@onyxdemonic2566 The playoff losing streak (getting knocked out before even having a chance to win a championship and Superbowl absence is most likely what he means will continue. Buffalo is and will always be my team. I agree the coming up short will continue until further notice. McDermott needs to go. Allen chokes more often than not with an important game on the line. Back loading contracts always screws things up. I would have front loaded or given Allen a flat contract. And giving a once 34 year old edge rusher $20 million every year until he's 40 was stupid. The GM handed out loads of bad contracts including poyer, white, #23, half the offensive line over the last few years. Miller wasn't needed and it was quickly proven injured or not. Should've kept Boogie Basham. Should've never traded for Diggs. Letting KC get the fastest WR in draft will prove fatal. They've been undersized on defense since the late 1990's. Bad decisions on and off the field will continue. On the other hand this past draft class is probably their best ever and they will all shine. Hoping Coleman doesn't turn out like Keyshawn Johnson and get praised for a career of being an average possession WR with a loud mouth who can't beat anyone deep when necessary. I keep hearing the FB is awesome but he never sees the field. Only way Buffalo will ever win is to go old school with I formations. It's the best balance for run/pass and always will be. Forget spreading the field when you know you need more protection. You're just asking for sacks and turnovers. Put that FB on the field along with the rookie RB and watch what happens. Early 90's cowboys all over again if you get the line right and some depth. That's how Buffalo wins a Superbowl...
