- Photo trip to the Jurassic Coat in Dorset. Planned an overnight astro shoot, but it clouded over and I returned home with a daytime/sunset few landscapes. Astro photography requires so many things to happen just right - especially the weather! So, I am still trying to find an occasion to try out my Nikon D700 and wide angel lens...

Nice video....have you ever done a video of what equipment you use i.e. tripod/filters etc 🙂
Very nice as usual. Danke!
Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you for another enjoyable video from the beautiful Dorset. I like your approach on photography and life
Thank you Hans - I appreciate the comment and feedback.
You made the best you could out of the conditions you had. Thanks for another good video
Thanks for watching.
Just came back from a holiday in Dorset this morning and down in Corfe and Durdle Door, where, funny enough, I was telling Mrs Metalman about the night shoot you did down there last year. Despite the weather not playing ball if did provide a dramatic time-lapse. Shame about the cloudy night skies but you did get a nice mix of color and black and white shots in the end, cheers Alan
Thanks for the comment Alan - much appreciated. I hope you enjoyed Dorset.
Excellent video Nigel, I didn't realise that last long distance perspective of Corfe Castle was a possibility and will try to locate it when next in Dorset. If you could provide any help with the location it will be very helpful.
Hi Tony. If you make your way to the village of Kingston (from the Corfe direction) there is a little church on the left just as you leave the village - you'll find a footpath just past the church that lets you into a field from which you can then get the long view of the castle.
@@NigelBaileyPhotography thanks Nigel, I'll try it next month.
