Everyone knows that I love the summer and I love summer fashion. Wearing fewer layers feels liberating and a chance to bring out the shorts. There have been many lovely compliments on this channel about the tone to my arms and legs but really, it’s all a myth. If you look closely they are the limbs of a 67 year old.... it’s just that I know how to film from the best angle!!! Enjoy this week’s episode and spare a thought for my poor editor Filipe. He has dealt with my dodgy filming whilst coping with Covid. We wish him well.

We are the same age and I relate with you on so many levels ..makeup isn’t what makes someone attractive at any age… it’s being comfortable in our skin and that’s why I love watching you. Beauty is being real and embracing the different phases of life. At 67…we earned the face we show to the world…and it’s real not plastic. ❤️

Yes, we need to see other gorgeously imperfect women to know it’s possible to be both. And the way to stay gorgeous is to be fabulous and unapologetically ourselves. Nobody looks older than someone trying desperately to hide it. Jo gives me permission to be gorgeous!

I was wondering what the big reveal would be. Jo, you are probably from the top 10% of great bodies of women over 60. Your legs and arms are really in great shape and you don't seems to have too much sagging anywhere else going on either. Your are agile, flexible, bouncy and fit. I suppose due mainly to your lifetime of yoga. So that my dear is the truth about your body! Great vlog! X

Best wishes to Filipe, I have just got over my first COVID episode and it was 8 days of horrendousness so I hope he’s on the mend now. Love you in that black maxi dress Jo. I have never worn them as I’m about the same height as you and always been wary of them, but you are inspiring me to give them a go. Hope you pick up some new US subscribers too after the lovely shout out you got (well deserved).
Your body is fine Jo everyone over 60 has a few thread lines - badges of a life well spent. I do suspect though that you don’t eat enough. Loved the jumpers in the shop you showcased . Not so keen on the dresses though ( bit too little house on the prairie she said softly).

Been watching Pretty Over 50 for sometime...Kimberly is a star. And yes we are way to critical of our bodies...shame but I don't think it will ever change. I see things moving in the right direction with body image but there's a long way to go.

I've been much kinder to myself in regards to critiquing my body as I have aged. At 61, I am so grateful to still be able to walk 10 miles, climb hills, swim. It may not be model perfect, but it has served me well. Really enjoyed this week, Jo. Speedy recovery, Felipe!

The reason I keep coming back to your vlogs is your honesty (and Matilda and now Myrtle). You look absolutely gorgeous but still you point out your flaws - the same flaws that all of us have and are so self-concious about - and it normalizes how we all look! I love it! Another fantastic video !

Like many others here I am new to your channel Jo, due to the recommendation of Pretty Over 50’s Kimberly! I so enjoy watching Kimberly, and now you as well! I immediately fell in love with you because of your love of dogs, particularly Bulldogs. I recently lost my beloved Olde English Bulldogge, Memphis, to spleen cancer and miss him so terribly! Watching your videos from your loss of Matilda made me sob, yet was therapeutic. I know exactly how you felt and will always will feel for your treasured love. Myrtle is precious and you are adorable!!

In the extremely hot summer of 2020 ( Netherlands) it was so hot at night i had to lay with my back against the wall ( literally) ( for the first time in my life haha) to get some coolness and at 3 o' clock at night i went downstairs and ordered a fan online! It was hilarious!
