      Hoping it'll help with amphetamine withdrawal. Abused my Dexedrine prescription, been off of it for months now and while I do feel better I still feel pretty shit. Nicotine felt like more brief and mild amphetamine rush whenever I'd vape a substantial amount. Especially off of my friends mod that hit like a truck. If Ginseng feels similar to Nicotine it could be a good amphetamine substitute as well. I've been lookin for some sort of mild stimulant to get me going other than caffeine, because caffeine just makes me feel stressed and scattered with a slight potential increase in creativity, unlike nicotine and amphetamine which actually seem to increase my overall awareness and make everything feel clearer, while also providing euphoria.

    • @benclarke5914
      @benclarke5914 Před 3 lety +1

      @@yourinception so i actually looked into this before your reply, and basically, the ratio is meant to mean how much whole raw plant material has been processed to reach the refined amount , so in your case it would be they have processed 10kg to make 1kg of refined ginseng. (10:1) but even this is just marketing BS as it's very unscientific and misleading for lots of reasons that i won't go into. no-one should base their purchase of these ratio's.
      the useful info i have found to use ginseng for cognitive perposes ; the active part is the ginsenosides and that's what you should base your purchase on.
      lots of the studies I've seen use a standardized extract which is 4% ginsenosides (G115), and the best effects came from a dose range of 200 to 400 mg of ginseng, so for example 400mg at 4% is 16mg of ginsenosides.
      final comment: lots of the products I've looked at have way higher ginsenoside doses than this. again be aware that different doses have different effects or at least the research on improving the cognition of healthy young people is done in the dose range of 200 - 400mg at 4% ginsenosides

    Nootropics depot sells research chemicals as well, that's a big hard pass for me and many people who like natural and organic supplements. Zero faith and trust in companies who sell research chemicals.

      @@LeroyErickson11 never used it, seems to me but the information it's probably over hyped and doesn't have the research backing it . From what I see from reading on it that taking taurine supplement will do the same but with more benefits across the board and with no side effects.
