    Ashwagandha vs Ginseng (Video Outline)
    Ashwagandha and Panax Ginseng are two of the most popular herbs on the planet and for good reason. They belong to a very specific class of herbal compounds known as a adaptogens that help the body deal with stress. They also seam to be two of the more potent adaptogens with significant amounts of studies to back their effects.

    Panax ginseng is WAY BETTER for mood and energy and overall well being . Ashwaganda also has been known to cause anhedonia in people in which panax ginseng definitely will not.

    Wait ginseng increases testosterone but reduces DHT? I just googled what reduced DHT does in the body and it spoke of having less erections and reduced muscle mass (basically all same negative effects as Low T). But I thought DHT and testosterone were nearly the same thing?? Does that mean I should stop consuming Ginseng. I had formed a routine on it but this is scaring me now 😭😭

    Korean ginseng helped me with my erections. I have suffered for years with poor erection quality which I attribute to a beta-blocker I used(beta-sitosterol), which blocks DHT, so I assume it's similar to people who suffer from finasteride use. It made me insanely hard and helped me get excited without physical stimulation, just sexual thoughts alone. But the downside was it gave me REALLY puffy nipples. So badly that I have stopped and haven't used it consistently in over a year and a half. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I wish I could have kept using it but every time I try, I see the difference in my chest almost immediately, sometimes even hours after.

    Is it weird that ashwaganda make me feel stimulated, high energy very focused. I have to take it early in day or I’d imagine it would effect my sleep. It’s not uncomfortable, I’m someone that gets anxiety from caffeine. It doesn’t cause anxiety. Kind of feels like L Theanine and caffeine mix. Only been taking it for about a week now... 300 mg Jarrow’s ksm 66

      I was taking the sensoril and then started KSM-66 and the same thing happened to me within the first few days. It is the most energy and focus I have felt for a while! It may be due to the decrease in stress and anxiety as it has drained me this past month however with the sensoril it chilled me out more whilst KSM is the opposite

    Do we cycle ginseng? Do we have to

    • @NutritionLibrary
      @NutritionLibrary  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes. Some research suggests that maximal benefit is only experienced during the first 2 weeks of supplementation. After this, a few days off would be appropriate. You can also implement micro cycles of course.
