I wish I could be as articulate in this comment as you are in this video and tell you how good it is! Excellent to hear about the reasons you read and what you're getting out of the books you've chosen. I'm not a parent but I absolutely love what you said about your parenting style. Good for you for trying to learn from your daughter. Your grace is beautiful. I'm so glad you are getting so much out of these books and they're helping you understand yourself better in many aspects. You had me hanging on every word and nodding along with you!

How wonderful it is to have a space to share our love of books and reading and to connect with people we otherwise wouldn't have. It does good things to my soul knowing my comment lifted you up and has helped your confidence to share more 😊 I'm a new booktuber and have been finding my feet making videos. The comments have already spoken my mind on your delivery and perspective. I agree with every statement you made (i too am a divorcé, mother of three girls 15,13, & almost 10). I'm gonna add all these to my tbr. I have not been keen on Nonfiction but I'm sure you're gonna change my mind 😂
thank you! Just having a vulnerable moment here on the internet. Oh you know all too well how life is after going from a two parent household to a one. For me I didn't really have any guidance and knew very little about the trauma that would ensue. These books have truly been a constant companion for me.
thank you for always sharing your love for books & you insight. from being an avid reader as a kid up until about .. high school maybe .
i really used to be into books then - the need to feel or want inclusion because you see your a little bit different. i got caught up in everything around me that took me away from where i should have always been .. in a book.
like i’ve even stated in some previous livestreams you were one of the biggest catalyst in my journey back to reading. i get to see myself on this screen in another black woman and say damnn where would you have been had you stayed this course??! your a big fish my girl!i’m not sure how i even came across your channel but i thank God because he knew.

The one thing I appreciate about you is that you are a mother. Black booktubers, who are mothers, are the ones I gravitate towards to the most! I myself got 4 babies!
