Chicken Bagnet Recipe! I'm Sure You Haven't Tried This Before!

Chicken bagnet is a counterpart of the popular famous Ilokano dish pork bagnet which is similar to lechon kawali popular in the Tagalog regions. One advantage of using chicken is that it requires less cooking time and perfect for those who cannot eat pork or beef.
Ingredients:
1 kilo chicken leg quarter or whole chicken
1 liter water
3 pcs bay leaves
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 and 1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. white pepper powde
1 tsp. fine salt
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
