Awesome! Already got those swim foundations sitting on the shelve. After reading and appreciating how focused you take triathlon apart, I was hoping you'd come up with bike foundations, too.
And run foundations for that matter.
And nutrition foundations.
And transitioning foundations :-D

Hey Taren, just found your channel a month ago and did my first triathlon last month of roughly 7 weeks of training (from basically zero bike and run training experience). I literally did exactly this kind of prep for the bike (2 intense short rides and 1 medium easy rides) and went so much faster putting in what felt like almost 50% effort but no more. Thanks for the upload!

For brick training days, should both exercises be the endurance focus or intensity focus? Or can one be endurance and the other intensity?

Hi Taren, the two workouts follows the MAF / HR rule (80/20)?
So is 2 quality bikes and 2 quality runs a viable Triathlon training method?
This advices is available for only standard triathlon or that includes iron man ?
This might be a stupid question, but is the book price in USD or CAD?
If you can only do one brick workout a week, should it follow the endurance ride or the intensity ride? And again is you only have one should run “hard” off the bike or easy?
I'd say easy ride followed by easy run

I’d say that anyone who tries this approach should make of the long endurance ride a brick workout (avoid jelly legs).
Hey Tony, it’s important to get the body used to that transition after a long bike ride to the run. This doesn’t have to be a long run 20-30 mins would do. I learned this the hard way when I started with triathlon by getting what we call “jelly legs” at the beginning of the run of my first Olympic triathlon (not fun).

Do you recommend HIIT during the offseason on the bike? Or do you mostly focus on building strength (e.g. dead lifting) and endurance?
