  • We have combined three videos into one. See a demonstration of leader's and follower's part separately and a breakdown of each step as well. The basic step, a turn for the lady, and a turn for the man are the steps that make up this video. Happy dancing!

      Swing. Jitterbug/Single Time Swing is an East Coast Swing dances in a single time fashion instead of triple time.

    It is "East Coast Swing". It is the "Single Time" ECS sometimes also known as Jitterbug..There is a double time and triple time version of ECS as well,

      Jitterbug was first defined as a derogatory reference towards swing dancers. Then it became synonymous with single or triple time swings. Lastly, it became mostly used for single time swing with a slow, slow, quick, quick 6 count cadence, each slow having 2 counts.

    too much gender defined talk. leader should be referred to as leader and follow as follow. not as man and woman respectively.
