    Loving your videos! Looking for a video that explains exactly how you do the triple steps. As is in “feet kissing in the middle”, ankle locking, and which foot you push off of. Thanks again for your videos! ❤❤❤

    Different ways to interpret swing dancing. Some more subtle styles utilize smaller rock steps. And others utilize less hip swaying &/or "bouncing".

    Hi, I'm new to East Coast Swing. Just started learning, and a fellow student (higher level) mentioned a technicality on toe, toe-heel, toe-heel or something regarding the triple step. Can you elaborate on that? Or have a video about it?

    • @justdanze
      @justdanze  Před rokem +1

      Hi! That's great; ECS is a fun dance! That means that on the first step of your triple step you don't let your heel touch the floor and on the second and third step on the triple you will lower the heel. Because it's a rhythm dance that stays primarily in one spot on the floor, all your steps will begin with the ball of your foot. I hope that helps 👍

    In dancing is frame the most important in dancing along with two step from Steven

    • @justdanze
      @justdanze  Před rokem

      When it comes to being able to connect, and lead/follow your partner, the frame is very important. Other important factors include having good posture which aids in good balance and technique so that you and your partner are moving together. I hope that helps :)

      Hi Steven! I'm not sure what the Sweetheart Scottish is. There are many variations of Sweetheart and I'm not sure which variation this is.

    The hip action actually takes a lot less energy than the up/down motion. Much less tiring.
