- New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make an Eggnog Rum cake from scratch. This cake is made with Eggnog and Rum, and it is injected and based with an Eggnog rum sauce with a pecan topping. This recipe calls for 15 or more slices of cake. Charlie you do an excellent job of explaining and demonstrating your recipes. I enjoy watching and then trying the recipe myself. I like this one because of the three hour rest time for the cake. It gives me time to try some extra rum while I am waiting. Merry Christmas, Charlie!
