Homemade Eggnog with Bourbon

- New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make Homemade eggnog. It consists of heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, salt, large eggs that have been mixed until double their size, vanilla, spices and Bourbon Whiskey. This recipe makes 4 cups of Eggnog which can be increased to serve more people if you double the recipe. It's the perfect drink to serve around the holidays like Christmas and it is absolutely delicious. Hope you all will give this classic holiday drink a try.

My Louisiana born momma use to make eggnog every Christmas. Since I have never been much of a cook, I did not watch her or get the recipe before she passed in 2008. Every year since I would try to honor her memory by drinking eggnog. This year, because of you, I'm going to try to make it. Thanks Charlie ❤

Awesome recipe Charlie!! You know I noticed that 1 quart of Eggnog is around 4bucks this year! 😮 Most of us have all these ingredients already with the exception of the whipping cream, so it will not only be cheaper but much much better to make ourselves! 🎉 🎉

But it tastes Great.
It`s rich & creamy, just lacking the egg taste.
