- Julien Alfred won the #100meter dash at the Racers Grand Prix. She ran a faster #sprinting time than Sha'Carri Richardson did at the Prefontaine Classic to do it. And now it is Sha'Carri's turn to respond for the #trackandfield world.

Alfred is no threat she cruised by her stop it
Thank youuuuuuu!!! Alfred is friggin’ amazing, and she is a threat to most, but she absolutely is not a threat to the best. Shericka always lines the hell up. ShaCarri always lines the hell up. TaLou doesn’t always medal, but TaLou always lines the hell up and Alfred is NOT on her level. We are not so sure what’s going on with Shelly or Elaine this particular year, but when healthy, there is never even a question about whether they will be on the podium. Julien is an amazing superstar, but the other ladies are simply too damn good!😊
I prefer Julien because she's a little quieter, but I have to acknowledge that Sha'Carri is definitely the deserving favourite with blistering top speed and a fantastically focused mindset..

*Alfred has only seen the back of Sha'Carri head, why shoul Sha'Carri be worried. Its not a going back and forward situation! Times doesn't matter, but winning does. When alfred beats Sha'Carri then I'll say it's a rivalry. Also, Sha'Carri proved at nationals that she can run multiple races and still win.*

@@SCATrackandField when ShaCarri came off USAs and ran 3 races in 3 countries in 1 week. ShaCarri also ran like 10.9. When it mattered a few weeks later she was looking at the back of her head

Julien Alfred is impressive and she is well trained in the United States of America with an international coach in Texas with the Ireland A and Dina Asher Smith in England, but Sha'Carrie Richardson has to qualify to punch her ticket to Paris; and at Worlds in Budapest, nobody expected Sha'Carrie Richardson to win the gold but GOD... she can only do her best moving forward, she said that she has gotten better and she knows that she has fierce contenders in the 100m dash, and she knew about Julien Alfred as a NCAA champion in the 100m and 200m dash sprinter with the rest of the collegiate international athletes and she has beaten Sha'Carrie Richardson that one time that boosted Julien Alfred's confidence as going Pro and Julien felt that Sha'Carrie Richardson was no threat, but she was wrong: Sha'Carrie Richardson practiced in Florida and Julien Alfred practiced in Texas, probably on a VISA like all international athletes: personally, I am biased and I expect the unexpected and I ONLY cheered for the USA athletes, and I personally, know that Sha:Carrie Richardson has Gavin's coach and Sha'Carrie Richardson clocked last year at 10.65 - 10.77 seconds, and now of this year, what was clocked time of half way point of those 200 m dash in China for Sha'Carrie Richardson and then the 100m dash that she clocked in 10.83: and I believe that Sha'Carrie knew that Alfred was right behind her but a win is a win and she and her coach would diagnosed and make adjustments to make progress; US Trials are coming up and that is the next step to the Olympics: Julien Alfred already QUALIFIED for the Olympics so she already punched her ticket to Paris: and since Julian Alfred has the World Leading time, then she is the favorite to beat, not the Olympics champion but the question is could still handle that pressure?!! Because everyone is BEATABLE including Alfred!!!!

Yelp! Carri definitely slowed down the last 3-6 meters....also according to the stats she caught Julien around the 50 mark...also it was more obvious from anther angle I saw.
Julien seems like someone who has a lot of strength but her effort goes sometimes to waste due to her technique. I believe they can very much be rivals in the future but as of now, I feel like Shacarri has superior technique and will probably win 8of 10 races they race against each other. That’s how I see it right now
