Dan demonstrates both the right and the wrong ways to replace the door handle on your RV Splendide 2100 Washer/Dryer combo. This is a classic example of how spending a couple of minutes reading the instructions can save you hours of rework! Had I read and followed the instructions this would likely have been a fairly easy repair.
PARTS: To order a replacement handle call Westland Sales at (503) 655-2563. Give them the model number of your unit & they can advise you of the model-specific part number.
Sorry but Amazon won't let me post links until I have more subscribers. Please consider subscribing. Thanks

Thanks for sharing. This may come in handy one day.
So our splendid 2100 handle just broke today and I have clothes inside and I guess you have to really work on that latch to get it to open before you can replace it. 🤔
When we ordered the part, the price had gone up considerably with the price of the part in the shipping it came to about $80
As I recall I had to use a butter knife (a screwdriver 🪛 would work) to force the latch open. It was rather difficult. Basically pushing at the break to rotate it. After replacing the latch, I added a sticker that said, "open with one finger." Good luck with your repair.
thanks for posting this. i have the exact model and the exact problem. would you be able to share the printed instructions with me? i installed the handle but there's no movement at all - the latch isn't moving . thank you
Sorry, I no longer have the instructions.
The handle works but what about the rest of it? Good tip about the masking tape.
Yes it works. I reinforced mounting surface and cleaned the filter while I was working on it also.
What is the number to the place you called for parts?
Hi Josh, you can find the contact information in the video description. Good luck with your repair.
