i think we get more quality minutes with a Dowtin Jr signing. dude looked good last year, takes care of the ball, unselfish, good size, and he's looked good in vegas. Kyle a crap shoot at his age, and that elimination game goose-egg looms large to me.

Aleksej Pokusevski , He's only 22 , 3 years experience - & I think at a level he can contribute now. He played well with Hornets last year after thr trade.
He can probably play backup mins at every position 1 - 4 ( except point guard )

if im Morey, im taking a look at that Keve Aluma guy in Summer League. Hes got nice size for physicality, takes good high iQ shots, makes most of them, & best of all hes a power forward. Would fit perfectly with the team over Lowry whos damn near retired. Lowry would be another PJ Tucker signing

You'd have to trade for Bobby portis . He makes too much money to fit under the salary cap right now . And the bucks have zero incentive to trade him to the sixers . Luke kinard is a 6.5 shooting guard ,not a power forward . The sixers second round pick looks like a great fit at power forward ,although he lacks experience ,his defense and interior offense is legit . Morris would be a great pick up with the perfect game to complement our big 3. Hopefully we can get him to return .
The issues of Sixers' roster:
1. The injury histories of 2 of their Big 3.
2. Depth
Unfortunately, the combination of these two problems can be very bad.
I think you can solve the depth. But the injury history of Embiid and George is scary. Not much you can do but cross fingers
No thanks to anyone who can't be at least competitive on defense. I'll take Lowry. Then I want a big PG to split backup minutes with him and keep him fresh (maybe Fultz? We can play one non-shooter during Embiid minutes) for the playoffs. Because we've currently got a roster full of small guards who can operate well off ball, and a PG who could defend wings let's us put two creators on the floor without always being tiny in the backcourt.
Lowry is a steady vet! would benefit McCain & TMax! Great locker room present!

If we need a backup PG, I’d rather Cam Payne. He played well for us last year. Plus, with his legal trouble, you could get him on a cheap contract.
I liked Shamet, a few years ago, IdK if he’s still got the skills to play a big role on a winner, but he’s close enough to Derrick White from a physical standpoint to take a chance
Also, I’d take a chance on Bertans too, but only as a guy you use for 12-15 minutes per game
Idk if I would compare the two Laun has never been a great let alone good defender

I would love to have Shamet back, I was disappointed when they traded him away. Need someone who can shoot. Shame he cant play D too well. Outside of Shamet, still want a legit PF, someone who can rebound

Those minutes belonged to Melton, but he was hurt. He didn't take them away from anyone. He just gave too many of them Lowry. I'd love Lowry back, but we need another guy to split backup PG duties with him to keep him fresh for the playoffs. Preferably a bigger guy who can defend some wings, because most of our guards will be smaller guys who can all operate well off ball. A wing sized body who can dribble, pass, and defend could give us some great lineup flexibility.

I like Lowry only in a 15 min role & if you think McCain is gonna play a bigger role.
Sign all 3 , Dowtin , & Morris.
Although we do have to understand no matter who the end of the bench roles - They all wont get significant playing time unless injury forces it.
So at this point we should really only be looking at minimum contract guys who understand they may only have a very limited role , be fine with that - but stay ready nonetheless.

Dude , much respect and I bow to Mr.Kyle Lowry as a Philly hoops legend ,but let us get real and see the politics of this issue, we need new blood , not a coach on the floor . With all due respect, every dog has its day , and judging from last year…, all I’ll say is,get some young dude that can ball in every category, including hitting a three point shot , run the fast break and on occasion make a stop on defense ! Geez ,let’s put a contender on the court , not another coach ,smh … keeping it 100…I’d rather have #11 Dowtin !
Absolutely Lowry should be and I believe will be on the roster... the guy is a winner what's not to like..

He didn't make the right play when there was a five-point lead and he didn't call a timeout he rushed the ball in to Maxie and the ball was stolen
Maxey was held and tackled which is why he didn’t get the ball, or actually Maxey did get the ball and called a timeout and just wasn’t rewarded.

Why do you keep saying the sixers are cash straped at 170 million . There are 22 NBA teams with a higher team salary then they have. Hell now they not. @@lutherjones503That’s not how that works. Since we are an over the cap team we can only sign players we have cap holds to more money. Only cap hold we have is KJ Martin and the rest we are allowed to do is vet minimums. You can’t just sign free agents when you’re above the salary cap. You can do sign and trades but you would have to match salary and send someone else out and we’re not trying to do that.
