      @@TheRestorationContractor I’d have to say the biggest win was generating revenue with no financial backing (self financed with pretty much nothing). I left my full time job as an ops mgr for the big green and went indie. Traveled to Texas during the freeze and boom! Financed.
      Biggest challenge has been creating a brand from nothing…self taught SEO and working on more referral sources. We are mold heavy and need. More water jobs!

      I wouldn't do a startup with anyone on an equity basis.
      You can get leads for 10-30% of the value of the job pretty easily... no need to give up 49 or 50%

      I can show you how to get great leads from the internet

    • @TheRestorationContractor
      @TheRestorationContractor  Před 2 lety +1

      Great question. What I would do personally as the owner is different than if it was one of my employees.
      Default answer:
      If you get a call for a leak, go look at it.
      As you do it longer you will be able to improve your questioning skills to better understand the situation.
      If it is at all a question, go look at it
      There are some qualification questions you could ask BUT... keep in mind that most homeowners don't even know if it is wet or not.
      They may or may not have a reasonable idea about the damage.
      I can make a video on this...

      What you will do to get jobs will vary based on what job type you want and who it is you are trying to get the jobs from. Plumbers are different than agents so what would do to get jobs from one of them is different than the other.
