2016 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship: Front 9 (McBride, Sexton, McBeth, Locastro, Cole)

- "Win your card, win $10,000": It's as simple as that. The five left standing after the quarter- and semi-finals include Peter McBride, Nathan Sexton, Paul McBeth, Nikko Locastro and James Cole. The showdown is staged Sept. 18 on the Fox Run Meadows Disc Golf Course (part of the Smuggler's Notch Resort) in Jeffersonville, VT. All five are guaranteed $2,000 in prize money, but only one will walk away with $10,000.

Eagle was typing something on his phone, apparently audible enough for Nate to hear.
Great editing and great quality. I enjoy hearing the sounds of the round. Hearing the disc rip out of their hands on drives or hearing the disc banging them chains. Hearing just the gallery react to shots tells you the story you need to know without having to hear boring commentators
...I love the pick up of sound hearing the disc leave their skilled hands not to mention, you have this quick art down to a McGee science...thanks again for all your work!

I don't know the reasoning behind this. I thought that the ring and the 10k would go to the player who played the most consistent throughout the entire tour, not the one whole could play well enough on the last stop for three rounds
I think it is similar to other sports - NFL, NBA, MLB (you have to win in the playoffs) - your "regular season" just qualifies you for the playoffs/last tournament. maybe they should lengthen it??

you guys should use the program handbrake to fix those audio sync issues, you can really hear it at around 18:42, the disc goes in and you hear it almost a second after. other than that I love the content, I gave you guys a shoutout in my latest video (which is being edited right now)

weird to see people smoking cigarettes, even vaping if thats what it was. I think after seeing disc golf videos on youtube for the past 3 years, this is the first time i have seen a pro smoke on camera.
Pdga sanctioned tournies it isnt allowed. But because of the pdga being dumb lately Steve dodge made it non sanctioned to protest the pdga.
ahhhh...gotcha. I thought so because even in playing pdga sanctioned tournaments myself, i never saw it and remember it is a rule so thats why i thought it was weird.
I also dont care for it to be seen on these edited videos because kids can be watching. I just dont get on a soapbox about it.

its not hiding it, its just not showing support. kids are influenced by media and what they see and are exposed to environmentally and socially.
In what other professional sport do you see people smoking? I think that makes the Pro Tour look pretty bad to have someone smoking during the finale.

So I'm a newcomer to disc golf and I was wondering if it's legal to step off the tee pad in your follow through?
the way I understand it is, you can start and end off the tee pad if you want to. the disc just has to leave your hand while you are on the tee pad.

Sexton's backhand power seems to have gotten a lot better.
What I want to know is, Where are all the pros that should be in the gallery watching this finale? Seems like there should have been a much larger following given how this thing was billed as the superbowl of disc golf. I know I would have been disappointed if I was in the semi's and didn't win my card, but I still would have showed up to watch the finals. Where are those guys at least?

So cool to see little Peter McLegless on the card. I swear, it's like someone stole 6 inches out of his tibias. It just goes to show, you don't need actual legs to throw great - just little stumpy things, with feet on them!
