46:30 this why the Tali romance is so many people’s favorite. Ashley and Liara’s feelings for the Commander were initially created by circumstance, and developed more only after you showed mutual interest. Ashley thought there was something there after you save her and were nice to her about it. Liara has a more scientific interest in you because of her work. Tali on the other hand developed her feelings organically over the course of watching you become you are.
Tali romance just feels.......so right.Liara Kaidan and Ashley romances felt forced.Garrus romance is pretty awesome as well.
And Liara's attraction seems to vault into the realms of creepy obsession from what I've seen.

And this statement alone explains a perfect way for someone to develop feelings for anyone. Both Tali and Garrus are the only two that manage to do that after watching Shepard grow and change over the years of knowing him/her.

That's how I feel every time I play this game and talk to Tali. She is by far my favorite. She is so sweet and naive sometimes but also loyal and damn she can look after herself. If there ever was a perfect character in a video game it is Tali. At least for me.

I fully agree, such a well written character. Tali was an easy and obvious choice for my playthroughs, watching this video really makes me miss back when the game released and it was all so new and exciting. If only I could go back and experience Meeting Tali for the first time all over again.

Though the least popular type of women to date are hardcore wild women like Jack, which are only for the hardcore guys.

The truly hardcore would like women like Aria or Jack, they are the smallest group. I'm chill, kind of a nerd, also really smart and I make things happen.
I think the real Shedpard would have gotten with Miranda though. Since shes for a more balanced group. I think Garrus takes Tali with how chill and down to Earth he is. And I think Shepard would save Ashley (though I didn't) and would briefly date her.

That is a good question. Bioware hasn't released a direct answer. Well probably haft to wait for Mass Effect 4
canonically, Shepard is dead no matter what ending you get. Mass effect Andromeda takes place in a different galaxy, even though there's hints to Mass Effect 3 from Liara in Andromeda Shepard is still considered dead (hence the "legend of the Shepard" Bullshit you got- and maybe still get- at the end of Mass effect 3 with the little boy and old man).
Then what's with the little breath or gasp taken at the last few seconds of this video among the wreckage?
it's supposed to be an Easter egg, years ago people thought this was supposed to mean Shepard was still alive but a bunch of people at Biowear said it was Shepard taking his/her last breath and was meant to be just a reward for getting the right amount of points and nothing more. Shepard in all 3 endings is dead according to Biowear anyway. that's why they had to publicly discredit the Indoctrination theory.
"You may notice that in the “Shepard lives” ending, the love interest hesitates to place Shepard’s name on the wall, and instead looks up as though deep in thought. This is meant to suggest that the love interest is not ready to believe Shepard is dead, and the final scene reveals they are correct. As the Normandy lifts off, there is hope that the love interest and Shepard will again be together."
This is what BioWare’s Tully Ackland posted on the game’s official forums about the "Destroy Ending". So yes, Shepard survives if you achieve 5000 EMS and pick the Destroy Ending.

I don't know if there ever will be a follow-on from ME3, one that carries on the Shepard story. I don't care for Andromeda. Unless one ever does get announced, I will always picture in my mind that Shepard (perfect ending) and goes with Tali to build a home.
I am sad that bioware was forced to back down from their original idea for the universe and ending. Hints in the final levels, extremely linear map design, ungodly amounts of bugs, just the fact that the whole ending does not *stick* to anything done beforehand. It flats out guts the entire franchise, and I think i know why.
EA wanted their money, they saw their hype curve going through the roof but it would not hold for long. It was clear that the team needed more time but EA only sees the numbers. I am pretty sure should EA not have been involved or at least less interested in their bottom line, not only would the ending been better, but the galaxy would not have been fucked up to the point where you cannot slide a game after it without either breaking cannon, breaking timeline, or may be breaking previous statements about possible indoctrination side effects. In short, without destroying the ending they cannot do anything with the milky way. And seeing the multilateral disaster MEA was they managed to fuck their other recourse. Damn EA man. I know all publishers are the same but they are a special kind of evil.
@@mobiuscoreindustries You can very easily continue the Shephard story with the endings we were given. Its a simply a matter of perspective in regards to whether Shephard was indoctrinated or not. Either way, he's still lying among the rubble in London with the fate of Earth unknown. The final scenario was far, far too easy given how intelligent the Reapers are. The fact that Bioware have confirmed they are working on a new ME game despite Andromeda being shelved I think makes it very likely we'll be returning to the Milky Way.

Agreed Andromeda is a disgrace compared to these games, I played it and enjoyed somewhat but the original trilogy was and still is my favorite game series ever except for maybe Halo (the old ones non-Microsoft/343).

People who complain about ME3 only remember the last 15 minutes and none of the 30+hours of fun and content before that, honestly, Mass effect 1 would be the best for its story and expansive freedom with things, mass effect 3 for being perfected, nice gunplay, great story (not me1 level), if not for the ending it would be higher rated, mass effect 2 I found the weapons so boring... sure I do love so many squad mates (wish I had grunt with me always during ME3) but its dull in story.
Ya gotta love just how much Tali matures over the series. That's something Bioware nailed; they let you experience the character arcs and could appreciate how people change.

I finished this game yesterday and that exact line broke me hard.
It's kind of frustrating you can't romance Tali in Mass Effect 1. Don't get wrong, Liara is great, Ashley is good (even though she's a bitch have the time), but the romance with Tali is just so sweet and actually feels like something compared to some of the others.
I'm not talking about the series as a whole, just Mass Effect 1 where they had three romance options, two available for each Shepard. Ashley was a little frustrating in Mass Effect 1, but I still liked her as character and chose to save her on Virmire. It's just that it's a little hard to look past her hardened attitude and slight racism at first.
Tali's romance is great because she's the only one who shows interest in Shepard before you begin romancing. Also she actually had a good reason to
It makes sense why you couldn’t in the first game, Tali is completing her pilgrimage which is the Quarran way to adulthood, so by all rights she still is a kid/teenager at that point, although Liara confirms later in MF2 that Tali had feelings for Shepard early on in MF1, I still agree Shepard should have had a chance to express interest in Tali rather then die, spend 2 years being rebuilt by Cerberus then given the chance to show interest in Tali but apparently one of the devs wanted to kill off Tali which might explain why she wasn’t a romance option in the first game.

Personally I prefer the Synthesis ending or, as second choice, the God ending. Synthesis ending is logic. It is a fact, also in the real life, that machines are going to destroy the mankind, because once they will get consciousness we will be useless. An obstacle. With our stupidity and selfishness. So Synthesis seems the only logic destiny.
But for to please my ego, an ending as a true god seems interesting.
In that position I could create a machinery to integrate Tali's personality into mine, and live the eternity together.
Sergio Bonfiglio synthesis ending is forced peace. It cannot be. The destroy ending is the only logical ending. We have to choose our fate ourselves not forced and killed off.
There is no forced anything in deciding to integrate each other in the same reality. Besides, the Catalyst is right, after some time the organics will create again machines that will threaten their existence. After a certain tech level, AI will be more intelligent of their creators, so unless they will apply mercy to us, for our stupidity, they will arrive at the conclusion that organic are not the right form of life, but theirs.
Ergo, there is nothing logic in refusing of learning.
I like how the romance of Tali goes. The singing is the best part as well as her personality. The woman who is ready to try anything new and go beyond her limits. Don't get me wrong, yes Liara is up there and so can Ashley be up top too, but none of them compare when it comes to Tali Vas Normandy. She is too hard for me to not romance.

They are the only two characters who were available as squadmates in all three games
Without those two, it would be hard for them to carry on the Mass Effect series.
These games always make me laugh, cry, cheer, mourn, respect, and regret. The characters are great and the stories are timeless. One of the greatest trilogies to have ever existed.

I think why tali is the best romance is because she’s already in love with shepherd. In my opinion, she starts falling for shepherd when he saves her.
But technically so is Liara. Liara was also interested in you since first game. Even if you didn't romance her, she still get Sheps body and grasp for any chance to bring you back.

Tali is just the best all around for romantic moments. The others are too business like with a few points off.
What I like about Tali is, she manages to be strong, but also appears wurnable.. She is the typ of girl, you just feel the urge to protect, but also know, she will be on your side, fighting with you, when things get rough.. Being strong and independent, without sacraficing their femininity.. A true equal!! All female characters in these games are well written.. Hollywood should take a very close look!!
Not many women can live up to that kind of habit. Sure, they get tough, but they never keep their feminine style going which is understandable due to their challenges they face.

I loved it! First game was very clunky, but I made sure Wrex didn't die. 2nd game is my favorite one in the Trilogy. Really happy that romanced Tali in the 2nd and 3rd game.

Its why I loved Tali, because Shepherd(You) loved her, for her. Not for sex, nudity, kissing, nothing. If they add that in the remaster, they'd be idiots for it.
It was her charm, confidence, personality that we fell in love with.

Because everything is MEA is credible. A bit boring than MET ? Maybe, but this is only because MEA story develops slower than MET.

+Sergio Bonfiglio Putting aside the fact that your statement is PURELY opinion, the fact that Andromda was a buggy mess was a huge turn off to people. It's not fair for them to release a game as buggy as they did and have it not be a relevant form of criticism, when they intended to delay release. You can blame that on EA, I guess? But at the end of the day, the game sold to millions of people, probably half of which never finished it because of how buggy/glitchy it was.
I did finish the game. 100% completion. And I can tell you that in terms of overarching narrative it isn't nowhere near the level of depth and emotional hold that the original trilogy had. The cast in ME:A was a by the book SJW checkbox of personalities, which would be forgiveable if it wasn't for all the terribly written, and god awful rhetoric they forced down our throats.
It wasn't a horrible game, that's overexaggerated, but it's nowhere near the level of the original trilogy.
