- The mothers of former Miss USA Noelia Voigt and former Miss Teen USA UmaSofia Srivastava are speaking out after their daughters announced that they were giving back their crowns. Voigt and Srivastava are bound by nondisclosure agreements with strict confidentiality clauses. “They can’t speak,” Voigt’s mother Jackeline Voigt tells Inside Edition. But their mothers are not bound by those agreements. “We can speak for them,” Srivastava’s mother Barbara Srivastava tells Inside Edition.

Way back, Miss USA Carole Gist (the 1st African American winner) wanted to sue the owners of the pageant for being over-worked & not being provided the promised gifts.

The runner up turned it down because even tho it is her dream, that dream isn’t there something else is. She knows for the winner to give up her spot as bad as these girls want it then something is not right.
