- Hungary’s PM met with Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida, following his meetings with the leaders of Ukraine, China and Russia. Viktor Orbán and Trump discussed the "possibilities of peace", as the Hungarian PM pushed for a ceasefire in Ukraine. Orbán called the visit "peace mission 5.0" and said Trump was “going to solve it”, referring to the war in Ukraine. Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said the country sees a potential return of Donald Trump to the US president as a “chance for peace” in Ukraine. Meanwhile, the White House National Security Advisor also hit out at Orban’s “adventurism”, adding that he “can’t speculate as to what Orbán is up to exactly.”

Let me get this straight - the US "slams" Orban's peace efforts because they were done without Ukraine's support, but it was fine for NATO/EU to hold a big meeting to discuss Ukraine's peace proposal without Russia?
Orban a fool there will be no peace until Russia withdraws from the whole of Ukraine there is NO discussion!

How? What does Putin want that will make him happy that orban or trump who's not even president yet can even do? Maybe after trump wins and becomes president, then he can end the war overnight with one phone call.

Maybe not since Russia is winning the war and if anything they want to drag it out forever since Ukraine can never join NATO as long as there is continued conflict or disputed territory etc. also, Europe who tried to destroy Russian economy and make the country collapse are in recession and doing horribly and have no future while Russia is growing at 3-4 which is the fastest in the whole west.
Just a few days ago the world Bank and IMF also upgraded Russia to a high income country, and Indian and Hungarian presidents visiting him in Russia.. so if anything I think Putin is already very happy. Russia is untouched and doing great economically while the west is crumbling.

They are just destroying themselves and China and Russia are not even going to notice that they are trying their hardest and doing everything they can to destroy their countries and economies. Just like Philippines and Ukraine. If they are lucky they will be like Japan. Stagnant economy with zero growth for 3-4 decades now after USA killed their economy and stole all their best tech and gave it to south korea/Taiwan etc. Now China also caught up technologically and they can't compete anymore and so they have to resort to doing propaganda war and sanctions and tariffs to keep their economy going for another year or two max as German car companies continue to leave EU and Germany and open more factories in China and elsewhere due to their idiots leaders closing down all their nuclear power plants and then cutting them selves off from their one and only cheap, stable and direct power supply, Russia. They still buy and use Russian oil but due to their own sanctions they are now forced to buy Russian oil through a middle man like India who are getting Russian oil for cheap and then resell it to EU at a premium. Everyone knows EU has no choice but to pay whatever China and India demand since they got no other options.
Even Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other oil rich Arab gulf states have all joined BRICS and they are coordinating their moves and are working together to counter usa and west since the west is trying to fuck them over with their price caps and this or that. They are lucky that Saudi and Middle East are still even doing trade with them since if they followed usa and wests words, then because they are funding and supporting genocide and war crimes committed by Israel, then that means they too should be sanctioned and isolated and crushed.
