A lot of your points have already been talked about in other trailers beside the one shown in the US Direct:
1) The return of Brian Matt is all but confirmed, seeing how active he's been about sharing rumors and spreading hype.
2) The Japanese trailer said the game would contain around 300 levels since it's a remake of 1, 2, and DX, but I'm not sure that new stages will be added, at least not immediately.
3) The difficulty might be around the same as the original games, where it gets easy and gets really hard towards the end. With the new physics engine, some stages will be easier or harder than the original versions, but I hope that there is still a good range of difficulty in the game.
4) The jump button shown in the trailer is not going away, but it's confirmed by the official Instagram that jumping will be off by default and is a toggleable option.
5) A Point Shop was shown off in one of the longer trailers for the game. I believe it will work the same way as Play Points, but the only thing we know for sure as of right now is that it exists.
6) The Switch recognizes the GameCube controller as a Pro Controller, you can use it in any game that is compatible with the Pro Controller and even remap it to better suit the playstyle of a GameCube controller. Since Monkey Ball doesn't use that many inputs anyway, this shouldn't be a problem.
7) The Japanese trailer showed off online leaderboards for both the main game and the party games similar to Banana Blitz HD, and I'm pretty sure you can play online party games with friends, but I don't know for sure, I don't fully understand the Japanese trailer since I do not speak the language.
8) The Digital Deluxe preorder bundle for Banana Mania features extra content, including 6 new classic character costumes, which I can assume are the original models upscaled to HD. The Physical Deluxe preorder bundle features 10 new character accessories, which unfortunately do not include the classic costumes. However, the physical game has a reversible cover that features each of the 4 main monkeys twice, one in the new art style on the top, and one reflected on the bottom featuring the original art style, meaning that the costumes are either unlockable or will be DLC. I don't believe we will have the option to have the entire original art style enabled, but what we have are a great feature and a great preorder incentive.
9) The game is available for preorder at Best Buy and GameStop for $40, so the digital game and the standard physical game will either be around or lower than $40.
10) I believe Sega still has the rights to the original music from 1 and 2, considering they were used only a couple years prior in Banana Blitz HD. However, there is a new title song similar to BANANA~NA IN LOVE in BBHD.

Bios have also gone live on Nintendo sites now. It mentions 4 player local (unfortunately) but it does hint to co op during main game

I would feel dead inside announcing for banana blitz too I don’t even blame the guy
I think the jump option will be a toggle on and off. The levels are designed around not being able to jump and it would break a lot of levels if you could jump. A lot of games implement an easy mode so its not out of the ordinary. Otherwise if its always on see me never use it and still 100% it :p.
I think adding a jump button as an option would be a good for anyone new to the series or can’t beat a level, and if you want the extra challenge just turn it off

Well can confirm that the game is $40 game being my child hood I was desperate for price and when I can preorder Best Buy is accepting preorder for the game now and you get the Anniversary Edition for $40

It shouldn't have been a toggle. It should have been implemented as an improvement so the game could be more accessible.

Thankfully,it's confirmed jumping is just an option. While I'm playing with no jumping,I'm glad it's there for younger gamers

As long as I can play as sonic im fine.... But since were on the topic of what I'd like to be included in the game.
Crossplay would be a new feature I'd like to see. I know thats not gonna happen an it really sucks because my little bothers picking this up for the nintendo switch, I dont have a nintendo switch im picking this up for the ps4 pro, so we wont be able to play together. But eh maybe somewhere down the line that can happen.
The original music was okay, I'd like to hear the ultra heaven music for BBSD but thats about it really.

The jump button can probably be toggled. There are many moments in the JP trailer where you would want to intuitively want to press the jump button but they don't.

@@thesupervideogamenerdmore3171 Honestly Super Monkey Ball is the best Gamecube Game, so good that Doctors used it before performing a operation so they had more accuracy with there hands.
On the x1 it says local mp so i assume that the online aspect will only b on switch.

I don't personally understand why people keep mentioning the jump button. Even if it *is* there, you can always just ignore it and play the stages as originally intended. Or, maybe it's tied to some kind of "easy" mode, and hopefully disabled by default.
It isn't the same when you can cheese your way through a tough level the moment you get frustrated. They should do it like Celeste did where enabling the jump button marks your save file.

Yeah I miss the old artsyle so much. I'm tired of the banana blitz artstyle 🙄. Never was a fan of it. Gives us back the super monkey ball 1 & 2 artstyle back.
Leaks reveal that you will be able to pay 10 dollars more for a digital deluxe version to get the original music, original character models and a bunch of other character models
