I've been running a set of Reynolds 81's for 2 years now on my Kestrel and just love-em. Because I'm a tad larger I do get flex on the front wheel, but then again I'm only running 20 spokes as compared to 24 on the back.

It's not lightweight they're selling; it's aerodynamics which kicks in more and more the faster and faster one goes. Although GCN did a fairly scientific test and aerodynamic wheel contributed far less to slipstreaming compared to body position and tighter clothing (being all zipped up). So if one is not in a skin suit and sniffing the stem and going less then 25 mph, there's almost no benefit and far more important aerodynamic impedance, but, and it's a big but (Kardashian), one shore would be stylin'!!

What kind of tires & tubes do those Reynolds rims use? Is the $2500-4500 come complete with tube and tire? How much for replacement tire and tube?

I don't think they would look good on my three hundred dollar Diamondback hybrid or my 1969 Sears three speed .
