The editing of this video was outstanding, switching between your two head band go-pros, Christian’s camera, and car mounted cameras. The soundtrack kept perfect pace. Truly professional!
I'm from a far away country (Georgia the country not the state) and just love seeing you guys put American classic cars back on the road, i wish we had cars like that here, would love to do the same, God bless
But you have Volgas and Chaikas:)
That's no classic. It's crap.
@@KB-ke3fiThere is no so much fascination with old cars enywhere in the world as it is in the USA. The reason is simple: the country is young and most of its modern history can be tracked with American cars. Most of twentieth cantury cars in the USA were wildly different from those built elsewhere. Thus they became classics.
@@KB-ke3fi Somebody's crap is Somebody's else classic car. In this particular case I might be inclined to side with your thinking.
A lot of folk dislike the '69-'71 models, but I kinda have a thing for the oddballs. I see these models as a nice transition between the 60's "pony cars" and the later "Mach one" big-body cars. Great to see you guys saving another piece of history!
Nobody dislikes 69-70 mustangs, it is the 71-73 models that people don't like. hated them when I was a teenager. Now I have a 71 Mach 1 and I love it.
@@bustedknucks2280 You're right buddy, I got my years crossed up!
@@bustedknucks2280 im not a mustang person, but i like the 71-73 the most out of every other year probably because it looks the least like a mustang lol
Brother, your ability to keep calm after being obviously lied to is incredible. Looking at this car, I can't see anything worth a thousand dollars. I'll pray for you and your dad to be able to do something to get square on this deal. It's a shame that folks lie like they did. God bless you.
That was as much of an adventure as I've seen in a while. Well done!
From one hobbiest car restorer it’s great to see a father and son team doing this at this level .I recognize my flipping days are getting a bit slower , watching your content gives me those enthusiastic tingles to get out on the driveway , lift the old cars up and finish projects a waiting .
Extremely impressed with that old pony with not only how easily it started up but how it made the voyage back with minimum issues after setting for who knows how many years. A testament to the durability and fortitude of cars of the era. Hopefully I can attain one one day!
It is refreshing to see and hear all of you and your projects too we are praying for you guys too
When I was a kid, I remember my dad took me down to the south Philly shipyards to watch the "demolition derby's" - and to dirt track drag races in
Eatontown Jersey - (you can see what a wasted childhood I had growing up) - THANKS for helping me recreate those WONDERFUL memories. I loved
every minute of it - which is why I went on to become a high school teacher working on advanced degrees at Rutgers. I nominate you both for some sort
of Academy Awards in film making and small town magnificence (a new category). Just be CAREFUL (I can hear your momma say). Peg in NJ
I’m shocked that old mustang made it home and amazed you didn’t fall through the floor with the amount of rust just glad your safe.
agreed, driven unibody cars up in the snow belt not knowing until later how bad the floor under the carpet was....very NOT recommended. cheaper to tow a project home then smash it and have to replace parts or hit a human being.
That was definitely a challenge! Interesting how the upper part of the body doesn’t look too bad. Then when you look underneath there’s very little there. Being a unibody, most of the structure is the underside! You are a brave & lucky man to make it home! Now what? Thank you for the ride and Great video!
the problem with a car parked on grass--everything looks ok up top, but every morning dew is exposing the undercarriage. had to pass on some cars i saw from the road thinking "shouldn't take much to get that running" when i was too young to have my own garage. lucky i knew to look under before paying too much for a parts car.
I really like that 71 coupe! I see a ton of fastback 71-73s but not many coupes. I like it better than the fastback in those years. I hope you guys give her a second chance. Great video guys! God bless!
I had a flat hood 72 version of this in 82.
I agree
Super lucky guys! I was praying all the way home for you. That car IS the bomb. As you fix one thing another pops up.
The video really gives you a feel for the back roads in texas. God Bless!
Totally amazed you guys where able to drive that Mustang home! The video quality was top notch, I really enjoyed every minute, I’m going to buy some merch now because you guys deserve the support for bringing these classics back to life!
Thanks a ton! We really appreciate the support ❤️
What an amazing save. And she made it back to the shop. Congratulations!! I could just see her smiling all the way down the road. Well done!!
I had a 69 as a young Marine in 71. Wish I had it back. That car is well worth saving. Great job thanks from. Sc
Smile and wink. You bet! I can remember my first car looked a lot like that old pony car. And I was dam glad to have it. My dad told me a beat up ride was better than a dressed up walk any day of the week, and he was right. Well keep on trucking fellas and god bless.
Love watching you guys from down the road. That being said I know how hot 🥵 it is out there. Y’all don’t need to be working in that heat. It’s dangerous! Please stay hydrated and find cooler venues. I know God
watches over you but I think He wants us to be wise.
agreed, would be safer to tow to a garage and work on it there, than try to drive a rusted out unibody you don't know the history of.
All through the video I’m thinking “clean the windshield!” 😅 Obviously you didn’t really need it. Great job getting that thing running and down the road! Pretty nice looking car, at least when views from a distance! Can’t believe how well that old 302 ran. Testimony to simple old time tech.
Major PROPS to the camera folks for enduring that heat along with you guys. WOW! Great content!
Just 1 camera person and that’s Lil Sis (Christian) 😊 She does great and definitely puts in the work! Thanks for watching!
Que buen canal Cristiano rescatando Joya que una vez fueron lo mejor d la era.dios los bendiga cristianos.
Cuánta distancia recorrió el carro en ese viaje luego de ser encendido saludos desde Venezuela
Brother I just love watching you and your dad working together GOD bless your hole family
You 2 are a fantastic guide on how to work hard and have fun. God bless you from London UK.
Thank you for allowing me to take this trip with you so many wonderful memories of my childhood I so happy you all are enjoying yourselves
I loved this episode! That mustang looked like a scene from Mad Max . lol Great job guys once again bringing back a car to life. You guys are amazing !!!!
Father and son working perfectly well, you guys are so blessed
Love watching you guys work and talk, it's refreshing. The little innuendo jokes are the best. I like the little bit of banter more than the videos. Keep it up!
Coolest thing on that heap is the plates
Hi.....I would like to tell you that before I login to your channel this morning, I went to have breakfast with my son nearby my house......you know what.......? when I came back to my car an hour later there was a Black Ford Mustang ( with two White Stripes ) park next to my car. We stood there for a while to admire that beauty Muscle car.... and when I came back and on my laptop your Project car was on the screen.......! Cheers.........God Blessed you both......
the solinoid is glowing red, sparks flying!
That's still a really nice car the fact that it needs new floors is nothing that's easy stuff thank you for saving her I would give anything to have her because I was born in 71 she just needs for someone to love her again
Nice one
Wyatt I loved that real floorboards comment!
Missed you guys
I know you guys can get that car running. You guys are mighty men of God and can work miracles when it comes to cars.
Dear lord, you guys had me drooling with the title that says Abandoned 1971 Ford Mustang. Absolutely my dream car.
As always, insane, but impressive. Good camera work ! ..Love the stylish driver seat. My 69 Ranchero had a 302 that would not quit. Good job. pb
I'm sure it wasn't fun for you guys but the rain made the adventure even better !!! Good job ya'll!!!
Saw you headed for that puddle and immediately, "no,no,no-...oohoho!". Then you said "that was a bad idea...."🤣😂🤣
Sitting out with my morning coffee before work, the morning serenity was pierced by my laughter and I scared my dog who jumped up barking and scared me! What a great video!👍
I'm looking at helping out a friend who's mom had a stroke. You guys are great, and I just wanted to put a smile on her face. She's just outside Youngstown Ohio. Older mustang and been around 2000 since last ran. I would love to see your work and help her see her car running. Just reaching out. Thanks
I think ya'll are doing an awesome job collecting antique cars and giving them life again 🌹✌️
I really enjoy the interesting and clean content of ya'lls videos. Thanks for sharing and please keep em coming!
Best Episode Yet. Excellent job with the story, the revival and its documentation. Top notch stuff!
Absolutely love the shape of the car.thank you all for a fantastic video God bless you all.🙏 John from England ❤
Well done guys I have a 1965 coupe with a 302 love seeing them get back on the road. Also great to see family working together. It hot in Houston too !!
Well, I gotta say that this was one of the wildest videos I have ever seen you guys do! I must say that you and your Dad have a lot more nerve than I do because I would have taken one look at that Old Mustang and walked away!!! I would never have guessed that it would start and run all the way back to your base headquarters!!! Great video!!!!
Glad to see American muscle cars again!!
Muscle car? A 71 Mustang? lol!!!!
Morning Lance & Wyatt, Hope & Pray you & your father drink lots of fluids in the Texas heat, heat stroke is no fun!
Another great Video! The stuff guys like us go through to make good content lol. A car like that 99% of people will just walk away from but you guys persevered once again!
I immediately thought wow this mini bike wold be nice for a restauration
Thanks for the lift guys pretty rough but we survived! Nice madmax style mustang!!!!
There’s a lot to unpack in this video. But first, thank you as a longtime Mustang lover it was really nice to see you resurrect another old one. I hope you guys purposefully removed the camera from the roof of the car and it didn’t just fall off (nor did Christian). I noticed it had disappeared after the first five minutes of the drive home. Another great video thanks again.
Thanks for saving this one Lance, a a Ford guy I always enjoy seeing one brought back to life, although I also enjoy all of your videos. From one Texan to another, may God bless.
Man that thing is only being held together by a prayer. I thought I saw a leak in the radiator when you first said something about the noise. Good luck Guys I’m still watching the video.
Talk about some back roads! Can't believe that made the trip as rusty as it is. Hope to see it Restored one day!!
Yay my fellow gear heads are back!!!!
You boys near gave me a heart attack when you got under that car to hook the chains up and again when moving the rubbish out of the way. Tin hunting (car collecting) here in Australia requires a certain amount of caution or you might just get bitten by something very angry that decided to slither under there to get out of the heat. Well done on getting that old beast home, it was hard to tell if it would break down or break in half. You sure made it clear that it was hot but I didn’t hear the camera operator complaining😂.
Great job and an excellent video. Cheers, Stuart 🇦🇺
With Gods power on your side, anything is possible. He definitely blessed you guys with your incredible skills. Very good job on everything you guys do on old rusty relics. God Bless you guys.
That was great content , you all put a lot of effort into making it interesting
How it made home, and without breaking down, the luck was on your side
And no police , made it all a great feeling of wishing you got home safe
This was a movie...a real road movie❤
My hat off to you fellas. I probably would of seen those floorboards and chickened out. That ole heat is hard on a fella. You worked for this one! God Bless!
I have to say this is the worst car i have seen you guys rescue . God bless all of you !!!!!!!!!!!
Much respect from Canada. I heard you guys are getting beating with heat down there. Stay safe!!
Man I'd like to see this be a rebuild project ,After the love she showed you bringing you home safe after you fixed her,That's got to be worth some kind of reward,Through mud, heat, rain and shine,She delivered you to your destination with no breakdowns, She's more loyal than a family hound ,And that's saying something. You say you turn rust,Well what could you turn her into? I was with you before the site went down and I'm still here ,Oh and your algorithms probably read low because I know I don't sign in every time I watch a video ,Probably the same for others, Google doesn't count that I don't think,Google owns You Tube,They only count people signed in. So a lot of us are probably subscribed.
God bless you guys, but I'd have given up on this POS (sorry), very early on. But, I give y'all a lot of credit for hanging in there and getting it further than I would have!
Fantastic work
Oh, how I wish there were some way of putting the two of you in charge of some US agency charged with "MAKING THINGS WORK" - EITHER THAT OR
AT A MAJOR UNIVERSITY TEACHING YOUNG PEOPLE HOW TO USE THEIR BRAINS - NOT GIVING UP - You should be given Ph,D's for shear
inventiveness and determination. America needs more people like you!!!
Those early 70's were my favorite body style. The big, long hood and rear window " sail panels."
In Australia, we call that running the gauntlet. Sometimes you make it Sometimes you don't. Great to see you made it.. 😊
Fantastic video guys and well done making it home! Love watching here in England 🏴 😎🙌
Outstanding as always! Saved another one!
the Mustang is beautiful!!!!!
I laughed when Lance was stomping on the wasps. Awesome video guys. You guys work hard, may the LORD give you strength.
I honestly gave this thing Zero possibility of running. You guys are amazing 👍🏻🫵🏻🙏🏻 I can’t believe that rust bucket of bolts made it home!😂😂😂😂 you two maniacs 🫵🏻🙄
Don`t clean the windshield before you jump on the road🤣🤣🤣
Love your shows,Watch all the time!!
Those mustangs like that one are my favorite of all the mustangs.
Now THAT was an Adventure! Awesome video
You got to respect the old pony 🐴 she made it don't know who filmed this but they definitely have a career in movie making such beautiful scenery out there in Texas .
WHAT A DEAL. YALL MADE IT HAPPEN. THATS ALL THAT COUNTS. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW YOU WAS ABLE TO SEE THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. FIGURED YOU WOULD HAVE CLEANED IT TO SEE BETTER. GLAD YALL MADE IT HOME SAFELY. GOOD JOB. THANKS FOR SHARING. TRUCK DRIVER RAY ✝️ BLESSINGS
Good job ya'll!!!Thanks
Couldn’t watch it in one go but as enjoyed thoroughly, thrilling as before. Blessings
Great revival I appreciate it i love mustangs
This is the best hillbilly car I've seen yet used to have a what is a rebuilt motor no brakes and there was no except the incident half worth of grease and dirt I had to drive it fight 5.2 MI I used transmission in 21 crucial stop sign luckily no traffic when I got there and then I have the Flintstone it to stop at once I get home The Price is Right for three-speed on the floor I had to use shims were gone in the column found the b&m shift kit best rust bucket ever had keep making videos I love.
a little mud bogging in the mustang, good thing you rebuilt that floor... lol
Glad to see you on again
Would LOVE you guys save this rust bucket!
That was great....and gutsy. That unibody has had the biscuit, but at least the 302, tranny, and rear end are still usable. Love your videos!
Building a floorboard on the courthouse square in Mount Vernon You got to love it. I'm loving that custom driver seat too. I won't dibs on that mini bike lol
Hey Lance, Wyatt, and Christian 👋 . Great video on the Mustang 👌 . Thanks for sharing, and have a great weekend 👋
I'd love to see a build series on this old girl! My high school car was supposed to be a 71 Mach 1 that had been sitting since 87, however, it was sold out from under me. Still would love to find one some day
Talk about perseverance of the Saints! Brothers, ya’ll had me on edge man, couldn’t look away the last 20 minutes or so, almost burnt my chicken! Where’d you buy that thing, just west of the Mississippi? Love the channel, glad I found Ya’ll.
Jeremiah 17:7
PARABÉNS POR TODOS OS RESGATES QUE VOCÊS FASEM .
You also need some vise grip to tool the other window down 😮
21:00 The question isn't 'will it run', but 'will it FLY!'
My favorite years of the Mustang. I really liked the Mach 1. New subscriber here.
Love the new addition,
Central California watching
Nice motorhome! A lot of work, but it's so much more fun to camp with...😊👍
That is the absolute most Awesome parts car I've ever seen!
Love it love it love it. You guys had me in stiches a few times❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You two are great, I love watching you fix the car on the spot and drive home. An outstanding episode. God bless you ✝️🙏❤️💪💪💪🇭🇷
