Sorry guys about the double journey! Try speaking Luganda and a few words in Swahili. Those languages are a little related and can push you all the way to Zambia and Namibia. Burundi cleanliness seems to be ahead of some people's country but lets keep quiet about that!🤣
I’m so glad despite the challenges you all still enjoyed the time and had fun. God protected you all 🥰🙏🏾I truly enjoyed this🥰blessings to you my sweet sister erinah ❤
I am Burundian, but I left Burundi in 1971, but I returned to visit my family in 2006 and 2018. I liked your video very much. I find it funny (although you got lost) like when you are 4 adults riding one motocycle (I didn't know it is allowed in Bujumbura) and seeing you enjoying our Tanganyika beach. Thank you so much for showing our Burundi in very positive manner. BUT YOUR VISIT WAS KIND OF SHORT.As someone said in the comments, speaking Swahili would have helped at least in Bujumbura. You admire the winding road from Bujumbura to the top of the Crete Congo-Nil/Congo-Nile Divide, when I watch videos about Uganda, I like to see the beautiful homes and green fields of matooke/bananas along the roads.
@@erinahtl That would be wonderful. I am doing the same and hope to visit my family in October next year (2024). But whenever possible, please try to find somebody there who can recommend you where to stay for example. In some of your videos I saw that you are a businesswoman, you might be able to find some business opportunities there.
Welcome back from Burundi. Hope it never felt weird to be driving on the right! Those guys who attached themselves on the truck were also great risk takers and of cos since the area is too hilly, then that is a survival skill they have mastered over time. I guess their Moto is "if I die, I die" as long as I reach fast
Unfortunately now those ``great risk takers" could be one reason Burundian roads were included among the most dangerous in the world. czcams.com/video/-e7WThdKQ3A/video.html
Thank you for tht advice when exchange money, you know traveling depends on budget, please next time tell how much cost transportation, hotels, food and weather condition.
ERINAH TL, everything God created has strategic and intrinsic purpose and value. "Jungle", which often has a negative connotation actually refers to a rainforest. Rainforests provides major rainfall to the Planet. Rainfall from the rainforests recharges springs, rivers, lakes and waterfalls. With the continued destruction of rainforests, will place comfortable habitation in peril. Following the model of destroying trees and natural fauna is not a good idea or a good model. We must find the balance to live in harmony with Mother Nature.
