Disassembly and safety improvement video: czcams.com/video/c6vsvmSpf-o/video.html
I find it a litte disturbing that there doesn't seem to be any kind of insulating sleeve around the output connectors to the welding leads. It looks as if there was only the andodisation of the metal and maybe 1/10mm of an air gap that keep the device from welding its own case.
Ahhhh, dammit, now I can't unsee it. There is a 0.5mm thick insulation sleeve, but I don't feel it's enough, now that you pointed it out.
I guess we will have a future video where I enlarge the holes and add another insulation layer...
I made a safety improvement based on your comment. Thanks! czcams.com/video/c6vsvmSpf-o/video.html
I really would like to see what kind of materials this can weld besides the battery stuff. I would like to use something like that for very small projects welding thin gauge steel sheet metal for art etc.
Should work, but only up to rated thickness. Abything above that is hit or miss.
@@UltimateDIY Thank you.
Welcome!
Just buy a small inverter welder for that. On the second hand market, they are cheap. You will not get far with this battery thing. It is cute, but only for very small jobs.
Maybe another camera
Yup, agreed. Already changed, but sadly, initial part of the video was filmed before the upgrade.
bun
Chiar foarte bun 🤭
Am ramas surprins cat de simplu e de folosit si cat de mic.
