Lucasfilm contain all the ideas they’ve come up with that they haven’t used in the final product of the film/show the bit was gonna be used for, saving it so it can be used in the future. So there probably gonna reuse them again. At this point, the only Star Wars show that I can think of that would ever reuse that arc would be either the rebels sequel or The Mandalorian. I’m hoping for the latter cause it ought to be a lot more cinematic then in rebels
Lachlan Harrison maybe in another prequel show or TV Show imagine one on a Jedi after order 66 stopping palatines plans to make this armour.

Maybe the Republic killing the Zillo Beast may have affected Mace’s viewpoint, that not everyone can be saved.
What I find strange is that Palpatine didn’t tell the Jedi about cloning the Beast.

I feel like the Zillo Beast story arch has more in common with King Kong then it does Godzilla.
i think it has elements from both Godzilla and King Kong
Certainly the lead up to it is 100% Godzilla, with them detonating that new bomb that initially basically looks an a-bomb, creating the sinkhole, it harks to the cautionary tale theme of Godzilla about nuclear power etc.
Nathan Kendall I don’t see how besides them transporting it from Malastare to the cities on Coruscant.
It has a lot more Godzilla references. Even how the Zillo Beast dies is similar to a scene used in a Godzilla movie.
"The Zillo Beast" is a Godzilla homage while "The Zillo Beast Strikes Back" is a King Kong homage.

That lightsaber strike still shocks me. I think before Mando this was the first thing we saw that a light saber could not cut.

Close but nope! The scientist, Dr. Boll is a brand new species that they introduced in TCW called the "Bival". Another bival was later shown in the first arc of Season 5 that was about the Battle of Onderon.
Huh you know what they kinda do look similar, well I suppose a lot of other races look similar in Star Wars too if you draw enough lines
maybe Bivel are descendents of the Rakata, that may make sense for some of the Rakata to survive and breed with other races to create a resistance against the virus that was tearing their species apart wherever it struck

Whenever I watch this arc I’d always joke to myself that Palpatine is probably fighting himself to not use his force powers to get away form the Zillo beast
I don't like how lanky and flimsy the zillo beast looks. It looks cool when crawling up buildings, but when it walks it looks like a demented lizard learning to walk for the first time

I think it’s lanky design and way of movement is a very nice contrast to how most giant monsters move with the slow bulky mainly bipedal nature. It DEFINITELY set it apart from just some knockoff Godzilla like in other media
@@GreaterGrievobeast55 that is very true it gives it a wierd alien almost chinese dragon feel to it, which is rpetty great, for a long time i was always bothered by the third arm, but i have grown to appreciate and see its value as a underground traveler perhaps

im super happy they are releasing season 7 and perhaps considering other elements to do... who knows maybe we will even get a few surprise seasons of other star wars stories useing clone wars assets and skills and voice actors

You know what kind of cool the Zillo beast is one of the more huger alien creatures we seen in the star wars world, but compared to this thing size and other more larger aliens it just a small fry in the food chain.
Yeah season 7 comes and goes.. guess what no zlio beast! Would have enjoyed that more than the Ashoka baby sits arc.

Best thing about the featurettes is it shows how much they wanted to do. “Maybe in season 7”. They really wanted to do as much as they could and they thought they’d have so much time, shame Disney fucked it all up as they usually do
I think those kaiju looking creatures that were living under the Jedi Temple in season 8 may have been what Filoni meant, Palpatine may have been able to grow creatures from the ZIllo's dna and use them as a distraction while he tries to break into the holocron vault, the jedi would be occupied with the sith shrine and the zillo monsters, they do look a bit like the beast if you see the concept art.
Of course it's not dead. This is Star Wars..."where no one really ever dies!" LOL

Wow, I've seen that hangar (Hangar One, Moffett Field, CA). Unfortunately, some dangerous substances were found in it and it was torn down all except for the metal frame. Also, my personal take on the Zillo Beast is that if it wasn't sentient, it would be not as immoral to kill it. If it was sentient, it would need to pay for killing poor Hawkeye.
I like to think the Zillo Beast was used to improve AT-AT armor.
