A judge in Britain has retired to consider whether to allow the Australian founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, to be sent to the United States to stand trial.
In an unprecedented espionage case, Assange has been charged with 18 offences that carry a maximum penalty of 175 years in prison.
The matter has become a global test case for press freedom.
