What a great reaction!!! That was everything I needed to see, and more! I honestly thought you were going to explode or combust or *something* about halfway through. This must be one of the best reactions I've seen for this song- your excitement is so contagious. This is one of the best examples of VoicePlay combining playful antics with an incredibly skillful vocal performance; it's really inconceivable that some people actually think less of VoicePlay because of the fun they have with their music. Well, we all know better! I'm so happy that you appreciate all that VoicePlay bring to the table- they really are the best around.

Layne outdid himself with this arrangement. From the first time I saw it on Patreon, the best way I could describe it was pure joy.
I’m sure you’ve seen it again and noticed, but the first time you missed Ashley’s expression when she talked about her fish being dead. Ashley was Layne’s first choice for soloist on this one, and he was so right.
By the way, as one of the Patreon perks, Layne did a Zoom call with some of us as he was starting to work on the arrangement. So we were in on it right from the beginning. We also got to be ‘flies on the wall’ they day they were preparing to do the video shoot. It’s amazing to see how they work, and even better to experience how much they enjoy working together, and how much fun they have. And they are SO good to their patrons!
I’m glad you enjoy their work. Although they have continued to grow, it’s well worthwhile to go back and listen to their older catalogue of videos. Your won’t find a bad one in the bunch. (You might try Daddy Sang Bass and get to see all their families.)

Layne is very well known ( rightly so) for his percussion but your reaction to him singing more than 2 lines is awesome!!
I was really really hoping that you would do a reaction to this. I was a little concerned that maybe you weren’t able to see the movie because I know sometimes you have trouble getting to watch the movies. Loved your enthusiasm. At the end when it was like you were trying to hold your head onto your shoulders (at that last part where they were all singing simultaneously), that’s exactly how I felt.
The first time I watched this I was a little confused by Geoff’s wardrobe change. Then I realized he was Camilo the Shapeshifter and he was shifting into Bruno then Isabella and then back into Bruno.
This is such a fun production. You can’t tell because he is seated, but Geoff is wearing pink shorts that match Ashley‘s since he’s playing a female lead there.
Also the portion with the rose petals had to be filmed with everything going double speed so that when they slowed it down for the video the rose petals would be floating by rather than just blasting into their faces which is what really was happening🌸(To get the petals to move fast enough so they didn’t drop to the ground and also to get Ashley’s hair to flow like that they actually had to use not only a fan but a leaf blower!)
But even with thise pink shorts, Cesar and Layne stole the show. Between Cesar’s facial expressions and reactions, and Layne not only beatboxing but rapping Dolores‘s lines and providing the bass line when Geoff was busy, they were a powerhouse.

Someone who appreciates the humor Voiceplay always adds to their productions. They just HAD to give that line to Eli with his bald head, that was a foregone conclusion. Geof's scream and the face he makes at the rat on his shoulder. Even Ashley had a laugh in the line about her fish, making that face.
They do it in style and go the full mile with everything, but the humor they add just makes it that much better.

Great reaction. It's always obvious when somebody reacting to this has been following the group for a while when Layne starts singing. I hope he gets to do that more in the future.
