I removed the side latches from the apache case. Just push the pins out, the rear latches are all you need. Still seals properly and alot easier to get into. Also took off the handle.

Just did the mountain loop scenic route pass the ice caves last weekend on my 2017. Great bikes!

I was very disappointed with the rear tire life of the Shinko 244 I put on my 2023 KLR. At 2000 miles the rear tire was already almost gone. I got much better mileage from the similar Kenda 270.

Interesting, I've heard the complete opposite a dozen of times

It's listed but will keep it until Spring unless I get my asking price. Really enjoying riding it now, so in no hurry to get rid of it.

@@treyveston7965 you should keep it ..I just thought is was weird when I watched you video and saw the same sasquactch on the fearing..I had a 2018 klr650 and loved it but when I had a chance to get a tenere 700 I traded it in so now I have a 2022 t7

@@gabrielkopp2036 I just might. I do need to buy a new ATV for hunting and deep woods traveling, but the KLR is perfect for commuting and doing short trips in the region to see some beautiful country. Just wish it wouldn't get so cold at night when I get off of work at midnight.

I'll tell you the biggest regret I have with selling a bike was my 2017 klr. Once I sell my other bike I'm getting another one. Might want to consider keeping that bike. Just such a simple machine, great fuel mileage, cheap tires, good on the street and off, and comfortable.

Agreed! Sold my HD and bought a 17 new and Love it more every year. Maybe add a T7 in a couple of years, but will never sell my mule.
