May 2024 Meeting: Video Security w/ Raspberry Pi
Presentations/Topics: JMB will demonstrate a video security system based on a Raspberry Pi running Raspberry Pi OS or Ubuntu Linux and a desktop PC running Ubuntu. The system can make use of webcams, dash-cams, or Android phones. And it’s all based on Free and Open Source software!
He will show how to configure the software to do:
- Time-lapse recording
- Record video based on motion detection
- Email a photo when motion is detected
