  • Honda Pilot A/C Troubleshooting. In this video I troubleshoot the air conditioning system on a Honda Pilot. The Pilot is not blowing cold air like it should. The air is warmer on the left side of dash and cooler on right. Honda Pilot air conditioning not working good. Honda pilot AC blowing warm. Honda Pilot A/C recharge. The exact vehicle in this video is a 2012 Honda Pilot Touring 2WD. Enjoy!

    great video, yesterday I just did a over haul on my wife's altima AC system . Every year she complains about her AC and it has gradually been getting worse . It was still working but temps would go no lower than about 65 degree , after a new condenser / compressor / expansion valve / all new seals ,the AC is blowing at 40 degree (about 80 degree F outside temp).

    Ok I am a subscriber for a while now I subscribed after you helped me with a video on my civic. Now you came through again I thought it was a blend door or an obstruction I was getting ready to tear open the dash. Nope just low on refrigerant. Thanks a lot

    Thanks so much!! I learn more from your videos than most any other youtuber, especially when it comes to Hondas. I never thought to check to see if both cooling fans are working properly. Now I will.

    Have a question @BigDog50001 you once did some repairs on the door connector on a 99'Honda Civic Lx...do you have access to the floor harness diagram and the color of the wires that coordinate with the driver's side door harness...(Basically which wires go where color wise) So I can bypass the door connector and makes my own setup? Thanks in advance.

    Thank you for the video. I'm learning HVAC automotive servicing. Can you confirm whether the Robinair 34988NI A/C Machine can adjust the PAG 46 system oil capacity to the correct level if the oil level was either under or over filled before servicing?

    • @BigDog50001
      @BigDog50001  Před 13 dny +1

      @@donprez6187 It only replaces the amount of refrigerant oil that it removes.

      Thank you for your reply, Dave. I appreciate your taking the time to answer my question. I'm interested in your thoughts on the best way to ensure that the system has the correct known value of PAG 46. Would this require a complete system drain and refill?

    If the history of the car ac is unknown, do you have a way to detect sealant?

    • @BigDog50001
      @BigDog50001  Před 13 dny

      @BobWhite777 They sell kits to detect sealant, I don't own one yet but I'll probably grab one for those occasions.
