Man I never returned to Beecher's Hope as Jack. The empty house of what was his family. It becomes the most depressing place in the game.
I always thought the place was haunted
why @@Waylonpark13
Turns out there were one or two stones I have left unturned.
Let’s go !!!!
make the rest of the cigarette card vids, those last 4 you never made
Been waiting this for over a year ong
@@_sim0nn637 I keep meaning to do it and then just not doing it hahaha
You can make videos about other games like fallout or sumn (new Vegas) I know it’s been done a thousand times but it’s still good content.
As someone who lives in rural Montana in the great plains region they absolutely nailed the mixed feeling of terrifying isolation and beautiful peace
@krozeodanFear is one of the most primal emotions, when faced with the unknown.
@krozeodan ...Or by basic instinct that helps avoid e.g predators.
@krozeodan ghosts are definitely real to some extent. Many many years ago my clock launched off the wall at full force to the other side of the room shattering immediately. It was like somebody picked it up in a rage and threw it full force into the wall. Yet I was the only person in the room... I've still been unable to explain how it happened and I've been going over theories in my head for the past 15 years.
Are you in west or east Montana?
WE ARE SO BACK
Intriguing... 🤔
Rdr3 drop gonna be legendary
@@emana.9954are you high? we wont see that shit for 10 years at least lmao
@@stmsin Well yeah I am high, and I know, thats why that shit will be legendary
I feel like red dead is just one of those series where you can make your own interpretation on certain things as being canon or what happened
probably thats what the devs intended
In my canon Arthur didn’t die
I make whole stories of NPC’s and gangs like your hunting down the remaining members of said gangs you know making your own story
The Blackwater ghost is 100% legit. I walked into the Blackwater bank about 8 years ago on a playthrough before I knew it was a thing and there was a man on the bench outside reading a paper and I heard the line "I know you, you killed me" and I shat bricks and went back outside and he was gone.
But because I am an idiot, I spent about 2 minutes walking around trying to see if the npc simply got up and walked off, so when I hit record it didn't capture him saying the line, just me walking back outside 😂
Then why only anecdotal reports exist but no one actually has presented physical evidence in 13 years?
It's real but usually it's a very rare encounter, and the actor is uncredited, but i believe you can only find it on the original systems, but I suggest staying there for 3 in game weeks without moving then you might find it@@KC.45
@@KC.45cause people wouldn’t take pictures of something that disappears quickly
Can vouch for this, when I played through back in the early 2010’s I had the same encounter with the guy sitting in the bench. Was actually gonna comment if anyone else had seen this.
@@KC.45good question. I think it's because most people don't expect it and they aren't screen recording all the time
I love how you refer to the first game simply as "Red Dead Redemption" instead of calling it Red Dead 1 like most people would. You Sir have class.
I can't bring myself to refer to a game by its informal title for the sake of easily understood conversation when I know that's not the actual title.
@Fizhy you're a smidge posh, in a good way. I like it
Right! I hate when people call it that, as it is factually wrong with the existence of Red Dead Revolver.
@@mase8189 "Red Dead" is short for "Red Dead Redemption", it doesn't include Red Dead Revolver.
@@svenyboyyt2304 of course it does.
fizhy, you forgot the lumbago plague of 1907
DUDE! Thank you for introducing this forgotten piece of Red Dead history. I use to eat up RDR1 mystery channels back then, this game can really creep you out and often has the player use their imagination
I never felt creeped out when I played it as a kid but as an adult 100% the atmosphere in this game is strange.
I had a weird experience in Tumbleweed way back, shortly after the game came out.
Hearing the online rumours about the town being haunted, I went there specifically looking for ghosts.
I cleared out the bandits and hung around the mansion until nightfall, but nothing was happening. Getting bored, I started shooting at the wrecked piano that sits in the middle of the main room.
I don't know if that's what triggered it, but out of nowhere, small animals started spawning in the room and running away, out of the door and down the steps of the mansion, one at a time... Raccoons, armadillos, badgers etc.
I don't know if it was a glitch, or what... It seemed too random to be an Easter egg.
Red Dead Redemption has that lonely and almost creepy feeling that i love
RDR1 is such an eerie game. the theme of "people are strange, and so is the world, and some things remain unexplained" is so prevalent.
@@Cervidae in RDR1 i feel that the people were a little more crazy and creepy than in the second game remember that dude who keeps his wife corpse?
It’s always good to look at the Red Dead series. They’re amazing games, keep up the great work man and take care!
Cheers mate, you too
To be fair it is fairly common to run into invisible NPCs in the basement of the tumbleweed manor but it is a common code glitch
I remember being 6 years old in 2011 and believing every one of these myths were true and spent countless hours trying to track these legends down. This video brough back some amazing childhood memories. Thank you Fizhy!
I didn't even know it was a "urban legend" that the Serendipity was haunted; I just thought it was actually an acknowledged part of the game. I was an OG RDR1 player, and any time I've been there I have heard the footsteps, coughs, whispers, and weird music stop-and-go's (don't know if I ever went at night or noticed lights at night though).
I'm sort of nostalgic for the Manimals glitch, which was something I loved watching videos on back then
Me and my friends spent soooooo much time in Tall Trees and Tumbleweed! I also found Nos Salida was extremely creepy...
Where is Nos Salida?

Hey fizhy I was the guy the other day who asked if they could redraw your profile picture I recently did it and I tagged you on Twitter just wanted to let you know great videos as usual
So you guys remember the part when Arthur returns back to the camp in the swamp during his illness?. After you talk to Dutch and stand there for a minute he will say “what are you waiting for? , I thought you were concerned about saving lives Arthur??” You can hear the sarcasm in his voice Dutch never cared about the gang.
I was actually feeling the same way today. Very lonely playing RDR online. I haven't played online since the release of this game in 2018. I no longer have any friends that play online. So I was 100% alone trying to figure out how online is now. I am the lowest rank bottom of the barrel with barely any money. It really sucks but I'm slowly starting to get the swing of things and get him back into the online atmosphere. As far as the story mode I've been playing it non-stop this whole year again. I'm still finding things that I haven't seen before.
Fantastic video as always. I really enjoy your content on Red Dead redemption
Your content is among one of the most interesting I've ever stumbled upon. Thank you for these amazing videos and what you bring to light!
Just started my 10th play through of the story and I always catch myself going back and watching/listening to your content over the game. Thank you so much for taking the time to make EVERYTHING you’ve made on this game 🙏✌🏼
I was literally looking for a rdr1 video on your channel last night. Your timing is insane
I hadn't heard of the Multiplayer Meteor myth before. Perhaps, much like the cut dialogue about the Lake Don Julio monster, or GTA's whole Bigfoot debacle, the "missing" third Meteor fragment in RDR2 is a subtle nod to the community myth. You can't find the third fragment because it only exists in a 2012 CZcams hoax.
For some reason the meteor myth freaked me out. I was scared it was going to happen to my game when I was really young lol
I’ll never forget seeing the photo of the Werewolf in Tall Trees back in the day. That and the Ratman of GTA IV
Imagine your playing red dead redemption and your in the farmhouse and you just hear *lumbaggooo*
I’m easy, I see Fizhy I click and watch, I see Fizhy RDR2, I break my finger clicking so fast.

Love your vids and the effort you put into them, looking forward to seeing more of you and your new dog. Been watching for a few years now.
I love your RDR videos, they helped me discover and rediscover tons of the rich folklore and secrets within the games. I can’t wait for your RDR3 content , even if it takes another decade for the game to release.

It’s been 10 years since I’ve played RDR1 but hearing the theory that “man in the hat” is Kain had me immediately rebuy the game and start playing it. Mind blowing from Rockstar.
Just to add a little bit of credence to the Tumbleweed church being haunted, even if the town is now abandoned, there wouldn’t be any evil spirits there. Even if the church was destroyed, it’s consecrated/holy ground. However, I can’t exactly explain the Undead Nightmare version of the town, though. Well, other than the curse brought on by the mask…
Really enjoyed, hadn't heard in quite a few of these
Cheers Phil, hope you’re well

I wonder if John Marston‘s dog is the same spirit of the dog that Franklin encounters during parachuting missions
That's actually quite a cool theory... It's exactly the same breed.
By that logic, every mountain lion seen in GTA 5 has an ancestor we can find in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Man you could narrate anything and I’d watch. Currently watching why I’m on the mend from an umbilical hernia surgery. The pain sucks but the video is great. 🍻
Correction: the Chupacabra is purely a Puertorrican cryptic. For some reason, stories of a similar blood sucking cryptids came out in Mexico and other parts of Latinamerica which were inspired by our incidents during the 90s and they took the name.
The Chupacabra legend is actually an American-inspired cryptic based out of Puerto Rico and Mexico.
I heard that the origin of the legend had been traced to rare coyote/wolf hybrids attacking livestock.
@teleplayer605 no wolves or coyotes in Puerto Rico. I figure that whatever did that was two legged, and quite human.
@@GhostRydr1172 It was the work of stray dogs.

Red Dead 1 always gave me the creeps. Outside of the towns it’s such a lonely still world, the background soundtrack didn’t help either!

Anybody else ever watch a video about RDR and it make you wanna saddle up if only just to ride around and enjoy the ambience?
Very nice video man.
This brought back memories of this myths and legends series I used to watch I don’t remember what the CZcams channel was called but it made me terrified of tumbleweed as a kid. Also, isn’t there a ghost that’s supposed to appear playing the piano in the manor house?
THIS IS SOOOOO WHAT I NEEDDEDEED TONIGHT
I remember seeing the "proof" of the tumbleweed ghosts and believeing them. Me and my brother wanted to investigate the mansion but were to scared.😅
Love you bro
wanted to share that it’s pronounced Don HULIO
the J is an H sound :)
amazing video & so happy to have you back on my new uploads page
20:41 what’s that background song that starts playing
Iirc the footsteps in the tumbleweed mansion are real and are caused by an npc who doesn’t talk
The reason why i think that is because i distinctly remember an npc glitching out in multiplayer and phased through the wall on the 2nd floor in said mansion and i remember him not making any vocal sounds
Even though I know that your coming close to the end of your red dead videos, they are the main reason why I watch this channel this and the GTA videos but it's time we switch to gta lore vids because well GTA 6 is on the way and once GTA 6 comes out I can't wait to see all the lore videos about that
Me neither but I have to break the GTA content up a little bit
@Fizhy yup, but I am looking forward to a GTA san Andreas and GTA Vice City in 2024 video.
i live for these mystery videos
I can confirm that there is no treasure at the IRL Cumberland Falls, other than the beauty of nature itself and the moonbow. There is also no cave behind the falls to hide treasure in.
you can actually hear dogs barking at Beechers Hope before Rufus returns. scared me terribly when I first heard it but it was probably just an oversight
Feeling myself to this rn
The other day on Reddit I saw how a bunch of players would go to blue water marsh and particularly the area around the ghost woman, they’d all get a different black and white translucent creepy picture of a random person pop up on the left side of there screen almost like they were being haunted and I was curious if you talked ab this before or what your thoughts on it were? Another one is lights lit in abandoned places like the abandoned trade store next to the railroad in N Roanoke valley, is this just the game lighting areas up? Also very good video and makes me want to play red dead 1 again! :)))
Babe please wake up, its another Fizhy banger.
THE 🐐 IS BACK
Hope you do one for RDR2!
also in red dead 2 online you can collect parts of a meteor but there is a 3rd piece that has yet to be found
it's good to be back
WE NEED A RDR3….
Maybe in 2037
If GTA5 lasted for a decade, I imagine GTA6 will last just as long or even longer. I’d much rather get another RDR man!
what was the song you used at the end of the video?
Yassss another RDR video 🖤
i wonder if undead nightmare is canon to rdr1
I always figured it's John's actual nightmare after he returns home depicting his purgatory
it's not
undead NIGHTMARE
It's not. Nor could it be, unless Uncle is a ghost during The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed, Reyes's ghost is running Mexico during the epilogue, and massive numbers of ghosts populate the whole map.
RDR1: I'm so lonesome
RDR2: Every time you turn around another NPC spawns on the road.
The worst curse I see in Tumbleweed and the Wreck of the Serendipity is the unnaturally speedy rate of wood rot, rusting, and algae growth.
I've seen occasional speculation about what an Undead Nightmare 2 would look like, and after watching this video I think I know why there isn't one.
The world just doesn't feel as eerie in 2.
Yes there are thoroughly spooky places, yes there are places where you feel like you're being watched and frankly you probably are. RDR 2 is perfectly capable making you feel like something's crawling up your spine. But even when you venture deep into the desert of the RDR 1 area of the map it just doesn't give that same feeling of being alone and vulnerable, like being able to see everything all around you somehow doesn't protect you from there always being something behind you, or hiding in every shadow.
It could be the graphics. 2 looks amazing, still better than any other game I have, but the lower fidelity of older games that really pushed the boat out graphically can be framed with the right ambience to give you this... indescribably uncanny vibe that you recognise everything but not quite.
RDR 2 would present a perfectly good horde of very visually impressive undead, and it would do a spectacular job of turning a haven of outward civility like Saint Denis into a bloodbath of decaying flesh and gnashing teeth. But RDR 1 presented what was mostly a sparse scattering of undead by zombie media standards, and made it feel like a creeping pestilence you could never escape no matteer how you tried. All you could do was stave off the inevitable.
And actually... now that I've said that, I thinkk that's another reason there isn't an Undead Nightmare 2. Because RDR 2 *already* presents the player with themes of inescapable inevitability that can only be staved off so long. The collapse of the Van der Linde gang, the progression of Arthur's tuberculosis, Undead Nightmare 2 would have had to either depart dramatically from the feel of the original or retread ground the main game has already put the player through.
BOYS THE LEGEND HIMSELF HAS POSTED A RED DEAD REDEMPTION VIDEO!
When I was doing content on RDR 1 not long ago I come across a guy in armadillo while on the way back to the guy in the school house for the "lights camera action" stranger mission, I ran into a guy that said "arent you john marston and you killed 13 men" or something to that effect, lucky at the time i managed to record it and posted it on my channel, that was the 1st time I encountered that since RDR 1 come out in 2010
I miss Red Dead Redemption so much. It's such an amazing game
Fizhy making a video on the lore of the grass types in Red Dead 2
Havent watched and still know it gonna be peak🙏
I didnt play the first game and wasnt see much about it on youtube. RDR 2 also has the same atmosphere and feelings but i wonder about places like that little church (stuff when we find during searching gold bars and nuggets) and warzone from civil war in 2nd game, if they were exist in first game ? If it was how they look like, maybe you can make a video about that.
Fizhy the goat 🗣️
Bro i just seen yo post, its kinda funny cuz i thought this was an old vid at first
I love these rdr2 videos
Fizhy lad, keep those stones left unturned, we can not allow the red dead franchise to fade away.
Oh this is gonna be GOOD!
id like to see a video about the shipwreck, its always interested me
So what I find interesting is that RDR2 actually helps explain a few of these myths
The werewolf just being a replaced human? Well the donkey lady example was so popular that it was added as an easter egg in RDR2. Who's to say something similar didn't/couldn't happen with a wolf? Extremely rare, but if enough players visit the area it could happen.
The lake I believe was confirmed via data mining in RDR2 to originally have a legendary fish like other places. But this one, you'd see someone fishing for it first before they get pulled into the water! Not canon of course since it was never added, but still interesting.
Armadillo in RDR2's epilogue I think actually confirms the town is cursed. The shopkeeper has a photo of the Mysterious Stranger and at the mysterious strangers cabin you can find a message on a map of Armadillo that goes along the lines of choosing between health or two generations. Looting the shop keep in RDR2, we find a letter from his daughter saying she's running off to be with a man whom her dad doesn't approve and also tells him that she's pregnant. I suppose we know who made that choice and what that choice was. Man got a whole town cursed.
Bro you got Armadillo and Tumbleweed mixed up.

something about rdr1 and red dead revolver gives me like not nostalgia but a like general feeling of being outside as a kid I guess. Idk why considering I grew up in a Midwestern Neighborhood and not a desolate desert but still lol
The first game def has a more eerie vibe to it. I do prefer the more variation of landscape and such in RDR2, but RDR has such a vibe and playing as the best character in my opinion. The loneliness is perfect for this game.
