I feel like a lot of people are overlooking the drums on this album. There are some interesting parts and grooves that are being played by Brooks here.
I think people are really gonna look back at this album as a classic, specially with the weird/groovy drums and the crazy guitar tones.
Some of his craziest drum parts are on this album. The end of cosmic is mental and the fills at the end of this one are so wacky and weird they're amazing. His drumming on The Stage is obviously heavier and more Rev like but that album is more "Sevenfold" than this one. I love them both

Brooks was meant to be in Avenged Sevenfold. He can literally play any style of music, and this aligns with the band's experimental side.
