    Great video. I have a question that maybe you or someone can answer. I have a friend with a mobility issue. She can walk, but cannot do any climbing. I heard that there is an optional shortcut to the waterfall. My plan is the rest of us will do the canyon hike and she can meet us at the waterfall. Is that possible?

    • @mytanfeet
      @mytanfeet  Před rokem

      Yes there is a straight path to the waterfall that doesn't require climbing but if she wants to actually see the waterfall, she does need to swim so please take that into consideration if she has mobility issues. They will give her a life jacket but she must be strong enough to pull herself and hoist herself up

    Is it necessary to bring anything more than a water bottle , small towel, and waterproof phone case (for photos). Are there lockers to keep any additional things you may bring along if you don’t have a car? (Snacks, change of clothes, etc) Thanks!

    How do you keep your stuff dry? I’m not sure I understand what a waterproof backpack is. Also what kind of shoes did you wear?

    • @mytanfeet
      @mytanfeet  Před 3 lety +1

      We brought a waterproof backpack (a backpack that is waterproof) and the park also had dry bags (but unfortunately theirs were not 100% waterproof). A dry bag is cheaper than a waterproof backpack in case you don't have one and need to buy one.
      I wore closed toed hiking sandals (KEEN) specifically.

    • @mytanfeet
      @mytanfeet  Před 3 lety

      You could depending on what time you land, just make sure to make reservations with the park

    Was this freshwater?

    • @mytanfeet
      @mytanfeet  Před 3 lety

      Yes it was in a river, not the ocean...but the river has other minerals from the volcano so not sure if that means it's 100% freshwater
