    In actuality, those are really the most stunning ones I have seen so far. Thanks for helpful information.

    It should be noted that you have to go past Playa Conchal to get to Playa Flamingo. It is just another 5 minute drive, so while you pass Conchal first you can be in the water at Flamingo quicker. .

    I went to Costa Rica 6 years in a row, from '95 through '00. I've forgotten the names of the beaches I visited. I fell in love with a Tica, but it didn't work out.

    Thank you. This helped a lot. Going to Guanacaste for the first time in a week (August 2021). Playa Avellanas looks great! I was thinking of playa conchal but seems hard to get to without a car and not much else besides a nice beach (rugged).

      Conchal is beautiful and if you can get to Brasilito, you'll be able to walk to the beach from there. Hope you have a good time

    So many options in that area! You should make part 2 with Minas, Penca, Potrero, Bahia Piratas.and Danta\Dantita which is my favorite family beach great for kids to booggy board.

    Super informative video! I'll be there in early June. Do you suggest the sun will still be out or should I expect lots of rain?

      Thank you! Hard to say, rainy season usually on the Guanacaste coast is cloudy in mornings, off & on rains in afternoons and nights

      Not too much rain in June. And if it does rain it usually rains early morning or late afternoon so you have all day to enjoy the beaches. But with all weather just expect the worst and hope for the best

    Hi, if we stay in Playa Grande are there buses or taxis or boats to get to these other beaches? Thx

    • @mytanfeet
      @mytanfeet Před 2 lety

      There are taxis in the area, public buses not really. Taxi or car rentals are the best way to get around this area (no Ubers here either)
      There is a taxi boat that goes from Grande - Tamarindo

    Are you a Tica?

  • @eliasadam2345

    I would also recommend to stay out of Tamarindo entirely and visit the small towns and beaches instead. The last year or so has seen crazy violence increase, like gun fights in broad daylight on la avenida and right out in the beach drug dealers will shoot at each other in front of thousands of tourists. Costa Rica has still great destinations. Pick the quiet towns. Pura Vida.
