Nice video, Im from Brooklyn NY and ran a 40 foot wire from my home. I wish it had AIR band
Looks like it works nicely with the Tecsun AN-200 on Mediumwave, Thank you Gilles.
Did Not get mine for FM but I noticed on FM it sounds really good and it has a little screen underneath the number that says the title of the song and the singer and other things that the radio station wants to put their that scrolls along like a waterfall
Gilles, thank you for showcasing the Tecsun AN-200 Mediumwave loop scanner as it is quite an effective receiver booster indeed!
I finally got mine yesterday and I love it I put it on a long wire
You put the AN-200 antenna on the end of a long wire? That's a good idea!
I think I'm going to order one tomorrow and try this one out something new to play around with
Somebody know the very last Harduino version and a link with instructions to upgrade the software?
Ah, ha. I received the coax cable today like yours. Time to play.
Qual loja fez a compra deste ATS25 ?
Thanks for the demo Giles 📻👍
Where did you get that connector?
Wow... I'll have to get a Tecsun loop, Thanks for the cool vid
Hello.
I enjoy your videos but
Im curious, about how far are you from the stations in this video?
Have a ats 25 hooked up to a mla 30+ loop and night great reception from central Washington and get am Wyoming stations and also Wisconsin stations only at night southern California stations as well.nice radio show you have keep it up good job!
Where did you get that cable
I have to get my loop antenna out and try it again.
Where did you get that cable with those specific connectors?
these are from a local electronics store but you can get them on Amazon
@@OfficialSWLchannel Thank you. I've been DXing the broadcast band lately, using a Yaesu FRG-100 and a Kaito 1103 (early non DSP version with the dual conversion PLL receiver). I'm always looking to purchase new radios, and have never used or owned a computerized SDR type radio. Based on your experience, would the ATS-25 (latest version) compare, or surpass the other radios I mentioned in performance? Thanks.
Where can we get your antenna cable assembly as seen here, please.
I purchased this on Amazon
@@OfficialSWLchannel Been trying to search for the cable. How do I find it?
Hello from New Hampshire Gilles. I'm thinking of getting an antenna for my Tecsun PL 990. Would this antenna work ? Thanks ✌
Where did you get your cable?
I’d like to know as well.
I think he made it up himself, probably.
Hi Gilles. Where did you get your ATS-25?
I ordered mine two and a half months ago it sat on a boat eBay you'll be lucky to get one right now make sure it is in the country
Got mine on Amazon in about a day.
what's that ATS-25 ?
Will it work with long wave?
It works less well. I'm with ATS 120. The cable is interesting because it is important.
Does that cord have a mono or stereo 3.5mm?
This is a standard stereo cable
Wow what a great tip. Thank you. Ron zuccala.
Check out that strange band in menu or bands it's citizens band it goes directly to 27 something megahertz
I’ve just got back into the hobby of radio starting with receiver and eventually moving up to a transceiver. My daughter asked me why the hell would i want to listen to anything that sounds so unclear while attempting to clear the signal the best you can..i guess she just doesn’t get that i along with so many others love how the whole radio listening sounds. I love hearing a weaker signal and tuning in then going to the next and so on..what can i say but hey kids today just don’t get it
Always thumbs up Gilles
Nice demonstration, Gilles. 73
What is cable is that?
Nice, I need the antenna, as it relates to pass band, filler, without it would be problematic.
Perfect fit, thanks
Another reviewer was convinced that the screen was creating noise internally on MW. If so, you seem to have found a solution. Nice video, Gilles.
Does this ATS-25 have a builtin ferrite antenna?
No it needs a long wire or an external mine picked up the first night on the regular antenna but not as good as on a long wire
But does it have DAB+ ?
no
1010 :-) , I live near Toronto and if I can null CFRB 1010 I can get 1010 WINS out of New York after dark
📻🙂
