Great tutorial. Everything I needed in one place. Question. After swapping it out, all callers complain that when they call, they hear a lot of static and crackling unless I put them on speaker phone. The static then goes away until I take them off of speaker phone again. Also no static when using earbuds. Does that mean I got a bad mic or did I not reconnect something properly?

Really helpful and quick guide. I recommend to use a rear side of magnetic pictures frames (which we usually stick to a fridge after travels) to keep those little bolts - I draw on a magnet plate a draft schema of components and bolt's locations and stick them on the magnet, when unscrew.

Smart Easy Repair thanks for replying, that's exactly what I ended up doing. I didn't think anyone would reply, I was so nervous for a couple minutes debating whether I should do it or not then I got the guts to do it & it worked perfectly. actually that little piece is just stuck on with adhesive so you just have to get a tweezers or slowly peel it off.

May you please help me, I changed my damaged screen of iPhone 6s based on related video but at the end two problem showed up: first the proximity sensor in not working any more, second when I am on a call (either video or audio call), by turning on the speaker microphone does not works.
